Look, Fojko, letโ€™s just set all the formalities aside for a second and speak plainly. Iโ€™m asking you straight up: do you think Vori is ready to take over the left wing? ๐Ÿ˜

Not this tournament. Weโ€™ve got a massive surprise cooking for this yearโ€”can't say anything publicly yet without causing a meltdown, but just between us here on the forum: we're running a three-pivot attack.๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜

So, we're bringing Boลกket Joviฤ‡ back into the rotation ๐Ÿคฃ
Oh well, Kim is still quite young; heโ€™s got plenty of time ahead of him, maybe just one more championship left in the tank ๐Ÿ˜

Jovic and Kljajic junior are coming back, while Nacinovic can't even get it togetherโ€”man needs a wife and some kids.๐Ÿคฃ

By the way, what ever happened to that young, promising wing player of ours? You know, the one who seems to get injured during every single preseason training campโ€”the kid they used to call the best player in the world? ๐Ÿคฃ
Why aren't we calling him up???
Or even Senjanin Maglajlija, who could probably still put a few points on the board. Or maybe Saraฤ. Or even Rac Tomljanoviฤ‡, just so we have someone to give Ivana a break.
Damn, I honestly don't know who's going to make it through this Saturday. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Or say, Senjanin Maglajlija could still pull off something. Or Saraฤ. Or Rac Tomljanoviฤ‡โ€”anything just so Ivana can get some rest.
jebenti, how am I supposed to make it to Saturday๐Ÿ˜‚

The wingerโ€™s got breathing issues through his nose, so he stays as the gold reserve. If Sprem gets hurt, he'll get the call later.
Honestly, I don't even know why Saracevic isn't in this national team. Let's just say, from reliable sources, Puc would actually show up if Lino asked.

Everyone completely forgot about Mikulica.๐Ÿคฃ

Man, I'm losing it. I've got VIP tickets for every game but I actually need regular seats.๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

Reading today's SN... Pineviฤ‡ mentions that with Lin, there's an option for up to 20 players to travel to Germany, with the final roster decisions made on-site regarding who actually competes and when. Basically, they need to register 16 players for the first round, leaving the remaining twoโ€”maybe four or fiveโ€”as alternates.

Either way... personally, I think it would be a huge mistake not to bring young Duvnjak. If we've already labeled him (and not just us) the best junior in the world, better than Baliฤ‡ was at that age and all that, then he should be heading to the World Cup, even if he ends up sitting on the bench most of the tournament. Itโ€™s about being there with that level of talent and soaking up the atmosphere of a major competition... especially if it means leaving out a role player (no offense ๐Ÿ˜ณ ) like the "young prospect" Anuลกiฤ‡.

And maybe Peribonio ๐Ÿ˜ฌ could return to provide a little more ๐Ÿคฃ

Puig is out for the Spaniards, so they called up Belaustegi instead.๐Ÿ™‚

Honestly, they just need to get rid of Romer to clear the air, then everything should run smoothly.๐Ÿ™‚

So, did Garabaj actually make it back?

Either way, theyโ€™re playing like absolute criminals out there. Even the pastor admitted heโ€™s skeptical about what kind of results they'll actually see. Honestly, I don't think he was wrong to be wary. Their perimeter shooting is non-existent, and then they go and bring in Belaustegi, who hasn't even seen the floor this season.

Honestly, Garabaj reminds me way too much of Jesus Quintanโ€”I could never take a guy like that seriously. ๐Ÿคฃ

What would Leb and Walter think?

That creep's got moves, though!
Yeah, but he's a total creep, man! ๐Ÿ˜

This tournament isn't going to be any paradise for the bettors; we're looking at odds hovering right around 1.05 to 1.10.๐Ÿ˜ Plus, the handicaps will be sky-high, making it feel like nothing more than a total lottery for us regular folks.๐Ÿ™‚

Denmark vs. Canada stands out as the only heavy hitter in Round 1, though I suspect Russia vs. Korea might actually be a decent matchup too.

Just waiting on the second round now.๐Ÿ™‚

When does it actually start? ๐Ÿ™‚
Maybe we'll go hunting for some upsets; I suppose they might face one of our own teams in the opening match ๐Ÿค”

Against Morocco? You can bet anything we won't win by more than a 10-goal margin, whatever the handicap ends up being.๐Ÿ™‚ Besides, it's basically a lottery anyway.๐Ÿ™‚

The first round kicks off on the 20th, then the 21st, followed by the 22nd. The only exception is the opener between Germany 2007 and Brazil, which happens on the 19th.

I mean, shouldn't this information be common knowledge by now? I recall reading somewhere that Lin would make his decision during the morning practice session, yet we are still sitting here waiting for an announcement. Is the coaching staff operating in a completely different time zone or what?๐Ÿ™‚

We don't even need a goalkeeper for the first game; we could just throw Vori in goal and call it a day.

I haven't a clue, honestly. I'm stuck at work right now, so I'm just sitting here waiting for news updates just like the rest of you.

We really need to find out today because they're heading off to Germany ๐Ÿ™‚ Someone is definitely going to have to stay behind here in the States ๐Ÿ™‚

This doesn't look good at all.
I'm worried Murphy is going to have a rough time out there... I really hope I'm wrong.
But I'm almost 100% certain we won't see any gold, and I'm also terrified of some stumbling before the semifinals, which could cost us dearly...

Thereโ€™s absolutely zero doubt in my mind that weโ€™re getting knocked out before we even hit the semifinals. We're going to get crushed by Morocco, maybe even Korea, or if we somehow stumble our way into the second round, it'll just be someone else waiting to take us down.

There is way too much blind optimism surrounding this team right now, and honestly, itโ€™s never a good sign. Itโ€™s not going to end well.
