Private messages aren't showing up

From what I can gather, everyone seems to have one unread message sitting there...

It probably just says: "Dear forum members, your private messages are currently flying toward Washington, D.C."

I don't have a single unread message because nobody sent me a PM I hadn't already opened before the forum crashed 😛

All those messages from before the crash are just placeholders at this point... that's why the inbox counts look accurate even though you can't actually access them 😛 whether they were read or unread 😛

A few months back, my hard drive bit the dust, so I've been keeping everything in the cloud ever since.

Still, I think I might just grab a pen and start scribbling everything down in a notebook. Just in case.😛

For some reason, I spent a little time a few days ago saving those messages (not all of them, just the ones that meant something) and typing the numbers into my phone. Most people have me on MSN or AOL anyway, so it’s not a huge loss.

Still, I can't help but feel bad about losing the rest of them.

Maybe a miracle happens and we get them back... 🙂
