Ever since I switched over to broadband and got hooked up, I've been having issues on the forum. I constantly have to refresh my threads, and now I can't even access my old private messages. Is this some technical glitch or what...

You need to hit refresh if you've already scrolled through everything and want to check for updates. As for the messages, that whole situation already played out and has absolutely nothing to do with your DSL connection.

To be honest, I don't quite follow the logic behind this refreshing business.😬

No, what I mean is, when a new post goes up, it just doesn't show—not even my own post after I hit submit. I have to manually refresh to see anything. Otherwise, it's like I'm not even online; it's just a static page with zero updates.

Why is there an option to edit our messages, yet no way to actually delete them from the thread?

Is there really no way to retract a post once it's live? Or is that just how the rules work here?😉

Well, try clearing out your temporary internet files first.

Go to Options > Internet Options > Delete Files..

That should do the trick. 😉

It isn't an AT&T issue. Those old messages vanished when the database crashed. Just deal with it.

The issue is that I can't delete the messages I wrote yesterday because the option simply isn't available for older posts. I don't understand why that is.
