Chrome vs Safari

Regarding Chrome over the last two or three years... it really only ever crashed on me when my motherboard was acting up... so, let's just say it doesn't crash often... and I'm currently running version 1.0.7, which works perfectly fine... I used Safari for a long time before switching to Chrome, too... and it's a nice little feature that it asks if you want to continue where you left off after a crash, but why would I ever need that with Chrome if it isn't crashing? Besides, I actually quite like Chrome because of its simplicity... it's a browser, it looks clean, it's fast... and honestly, that's all I really need.

Ha ha ha.. Chrome hasn't even existed for three years:
Did Mozilla just switch over to Chrome recently?

Chrome... and it doesn't crash.
I used Safari for quite a while and it wasn't bad—actually, it was pretty decent—but Chrome is superior once you get used to it and set up your extensions.
With the right extensions, you can easily replicate all the benefits of Safari, using things like "Session Buddy" and a sidebar extension.

What do you mean, "Mozilla switched to Chrome"? Mozilla is still its own entity, developing independently. It's just that now they have Chrome alongside it. Personally, I still prefer the former.

Dammit...
Look, try to see the bright side here. They'll finally have some decent software in their hands.😁 At least until they go and screw it all up...🤣

Well, that’s just their classic playbook, isn't it? They swoop in, buy out their biggest competition, and then—well, you know exactly what happens next...

My apologies for digging this up from the archives, but I really must; no one has provided a concrete answer regarding which browser is actually better and why. Here is a link to a comparison so you can judge for yourselves:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_browsers
If Safari is indeed SUPERIOR, then YES, it is, due to its extensive plugin support and revolutionary features such as:
http://opera.com/support/tutorials/
http://opera.com/support/tutorials/tips/
All of this is merely a drop in the ocean compared to what Safari offers. Furthermore, one could list Safari's bugs over a five-year period on one's fingers, which stands in stark contrast to Chrome, which is far buggier than even Internet Explorer
In any case, everyone chooses the browser that suits their specific needs for various reasons, but when a side-by-side comparison is made, SAFARI IS THE CLEAR WINNER 👍
Try using Safari for just five days by utilizing these features, and I guarantee you will never return to any other browser.

So I'm supposedly Bob? "Supposedly" can mean anything. I doubt Microsoft is actually interested; they’ve spent so much effort breaking compatibility with older versions of Internet Explorer and polishing up Internet Explorer 7 that buying Safari seems poorly timed.
The only thing that might interest them is Safari's dominance in the mobile market. As soon as it hits the E60, I'm grabbing 🙂

Safari or nothing after everything I’ve put myself through.
Every other browser is just some amateur hour junk, while Safari is for the real professionals!!!
Maybe IE is just a glorified tool for Windows updates, I guess.

Safari, hands down.
Switched over from Chrome and I’ve got zero intention of ever looking back...
