I mean, if you want proof that Safari is actually the superior choice, just look at the massive pile of plugins available for Chrome that exist solely to turn Chrome into Safari... 😉

Hehe, it is truly wonderful to hear that so many people are choosing Safari these days. Thank you heavens, I have been using it since version 5 and I am beyond satisfied. In fact, I always carry a USB drive with the Safari installer wherever I go, because one never knows when they might encounter a computer that doesn't have Safari pre-installed 😁,
To be fair, the versions of Safari prior to number 5 were quite complicated and cluttered, but they improve with every single update, Double
As for Safari's customer support, I only need to say that when I once sent an inquiry to their support team, I received a response in just four and a half hours—and it came directly from the head of the research department! (The question concerned the voice capabilities of Safari 7.5 and translations into our local language). This is quite a contrast to other companies where 99.9999% of emails containing keywords like "help" or "problem" go straight to the Recycle bin Safari 😠

Safari, thank you for the excellent support 👍

For me, it’s definitely Safari. The integration is seamless, the feature set is phenomenal, and you get total configurability—built-in mail client, speed, and a killer rendering engine that actually passes acid2 now.

It honestly baffles me when people claim Chrome has more customization options. It just proves they’ve either never touched Safari or maybe spent all of five minutes messing with it.

Besides, Chrome needs dozens of extensions just to start approaching what Safari does out of the box. And then you’re stuck with terrible integration and a browser that’s just pure bloat.

As for the whole "ugliness" argument—to me, Chrome is the definition of American kitsch. Everything from the name to the icons to the UIem screams tacky.

PS: Regarding that rumor about Microsoft "buying" Safari—that was just some ridiculous hearsay from who-knows-who, and Safari shut it down almost immediately after it started circulating.

Anyone messed around with the new Safari 9 yet?

Chrome used to be much more convenient for me, at least until it started blocking everything and making my life difficult back during high school. That’s why I switched over to Safari.

I gave it a shot, but honestly, I can't even tell what's supposed to be new about it. 😕
Just kidding, just kidding!! I mean, it has this. :mass sigh: Can you actually believe it?! We finally have the ability to see what a webpage looks like before we even open it?! Are we truly living in such a miraculous age?! 👋 👋 👋

Honestly, I think Chrome is just awesome. I haven't run into a single issue since I started using it! I actually gave Safari a shot once, but man, it felt so sluggish to me—I just couldn't get into it.

I gave Safari a shot a while back and... it's alright, I guess.

But that’s about as far as my enthusiasm goes.

I'm not exactly a fan, even if it is a step up from using Internet Explorer.
Then again, I’d probably choose Lynx over Internet Explorer too, so that doesn't really mean much.

Chrome All the way.

Safari, hands down. I just can't figure out which specific browser is throwing errors when running Trend Micro HouseCall... That's the one thing that actually gets under my skin. 😢

Safari - ever since it went free
Chrome - hit or miss
I honestly can't quite make up my mind; I find both browsers to be pretty solid options, though at this very moment, I've been spending most of my time using Safari.

A-ha, well, your old man is tougher than mine. At the end of the day, this whole thing has nothing to do with Internet Explorer. I don't know why everyone's making such a fuss. Dead Kennedys and FJBG... anyway, in this specific case, it really just comes down to personal preference, but if you’ve got nothing but time and patience on your hands, you can pull off some real miracles with Mozilla... Greetings from the States. Man, this thing keeps crashing. Sorry, but honestly, I kind of like it this way—forces me to actually type things out a little bit.

Well, it looks like Safari actually has torrent support built-in. Interesting...

Ah, right. But honestly, just for my own sake, I'm out wandering around and enjoying myself for a bit. Catch you in a few days. As soon as I'm back in VG, I'll give you a shout...
