Gotcha, so that's a no then. 😢

I'm guessing there’s no way to block PMs from people with under 10 posts unless I manually add them to my ignore list, right? 😢

Is there some kind of way to just follow specific threads I actually read or stay active in... or am I out of luck?

Think of it like this: whenever you decide to contribute a comment to a thread, the system essentially treats it as a subscription, ensuring you stay looped into the conversation automatically. Furthermore, if you simply want to observe a discussion without participating, you can select the "subscribe to this thread" feature, which you'll find tucked away under the "topic tool" located at the top of the post container.

You can manage all those followed discussions by navigating to the "Options" section found on the blue navigation bar just beneath the Reddit logo.

This isn't the right topic tool for testing out BB code...

I was wondering if anyone could help me out by deleting some of the threads I've started... honestly, I’d love to just have those posts wiped if they haven't hit at least 1,000 views yet, because looking back, it feels like I've been starting a new discussion for every little random thought that pops into my head... I noticed you guys have already taken care of things like this before so I figured I'd just ask if you could possibly clear out my old topics too...

Take a look further down in this same thread: http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=36624415&postcount=6

Yeah, it says right here that we should reach out to the moderators of those specific subreddits. Right now, I actually have three different threads sitting right here in the help section, so I’m reaching out to you all in hopes that you might be able to clear them out for me...

Aha, I haven't really checked lately. Out of those three, one topic got nuked, but the others should be sticking around. They’re actually pretty useful. 🙂

I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, but since this thread is pretty active and covers a lot of ground, I figured I'd just drop it here.

I've had my profile set to invisible mode for a long time now.
Then this morning, I realize I'm showing up as "active." I am 100% certain I haven't touched any of my privacy settings—I haven't messed with anything at all, except maybe updating my email address a couple of days ago.
So, wtf?!
Could this be some fallout from that recent hacking incident? : paranoia :

Back in invisible mode again, I see... just peace and quiet at last.

Well, I did 😁

But I'm still just sitting here wondering how—and why—that even happened 🙂

I was wondering, if I might ask, where exactly within the settings one might go to adjust the privacy levels so that other users aren't able to see every single one of my posts?

It is essentially a public forum, so everyone has access to your posts; there really isn't a functional reason to hide one user's contributions from others, much like how a library keeps its collection open to the entire community. Of course, that doesn't account for any content that might have been deleted by moderators.

I have this nagging suspicion that when you go to click on someone's profile, you aren't actually able to see their entire history of previous posts. I mean, is there really no way to disable that setting or bypass it???

It appears that the system displays the most recent 300 posts. 😁
However, you are correct; there is simply no setting to disable that visibility.

Even if you kill the power, the forum search engine stays alive. It’s still there for the folks who actually know how to hunt things down, you know? 😬

I see your point, I certainly do. 😬

So, I’m sitting here staring at my screen—wondering if anyone else experiences this glitchy nonsense—and I have to ask: how exactly am I supposed to get a hold of a member who actually took the time to send me a private message? Every time I attempt to hit that "reply" button, nothing happens. It just sits there. Is it a technical hiccup? A flaw in the system design? Or am I just missing something incredibly obvious? Any advice would be appreciated... if the site decides to cooperate today.
It appears this individual has opted out of receiving private messages—or perhaps their account settings simply don't permit them—so, unfortunately, there is no way to slide into their inbox with a direct note.

If you're attempting to blast this message out to a whole group of people, you’ll need to go ahead and scrub that one specific name from your recipient list—then just hit send again. It's a simple fix, really, though why these systems make such trivial tasks feel like navigating a labyrinth is beyond me. Just clear the name and try once more.

What exactly constitutes a clan? Is it a matter of bloodlines—that old-fashioned, ancestral tie we used to hold sacred—or has the concept shifted into something more... nebulous in this modern age? One wonders if the term even carries any weight anymore, or if we’re all just drifting through these fragmented social circles, pretending there’s some sort of cohesive structure holding us together. It’s an interesting question, really—one that touches on identity, loyalty, and perhaps a bit of our own desperation to belong to something larger than ourselves. Or is it all just a polite fiction?

He hasn't even been active on the forum lately—his last post was two months ago. If I drop a message in that thread where he was previously writing, am I just shouting into the void? I highly doubt he'll even see it.

If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove apić from the recipient list and send the message again

The user in question is

However, they haven't been active on the forum lately—their last post was actually two months ago—so if I just drop a comment in the thread where they originally wrote, I suspect it will simply go unnoticed.

Well, if you don't have any other way to reach them, then I'm afraid there isn't much you can do. It's a bit like trying to call someone whose phone line has been disconnected; without an alternative avenue, the connection simply cannot be made. 🤷
