I’ve been running into a bit of a headache with the timeout limits when I'm trying to reply to a thread..
Short replies? No biggie, those are easy..
But whenever I start working on something more substantial—something that actually requires some thought—the system just kicks me out. Either the session times out or it forces me to log back in, and poof, my entire draft vanishes into thin air...
Honestly, once that happens, all motivation to keep typing just evaporates..
I see other people on here posting what look like full-blown novels..
Is there any way for me to write longer posts without getting booted? Can I tweak something in the settings, or maybe write it elsewhere and just upload it as an attachment?

I'd really appreciate any tips you guys have..

Just highlight your reply—hit Ctrl+A if you have to—and copy it. Give it a shot by trying to post; if it fails, just go ahead and paste it.

Or... honestly, just check the "remember me" box when you log in. You shouldn't be running into this headache in the first place.

I was thinking about maybe drafting my reply in Word first and then just doing a copy/paste. That’s really the only thing that crossed my mind...
Also, why does it keep logging me out automatically after a little while, even if I'm right in the middle of replying to a thread?....

On my phone, the text is shrunk down, but on my PC, it’s not—it actually makes it look bigger 🤦 🙄

Can someone please help me out? I’ve been begging for some expert advice on the forums for ages now, but I’m getting nowhere. Look, I’ll be the first to admit it—I’m not exactly a tech wizard, and I am completely lost here. On this one site I use, all my message icons and reply buttons have just... vanished. They're gone. I can't click anything. I’ve spent the entire day following instructions from people telling me how to fix it, but nothing is working. I just cannot get those icons back. Please, if anyone has any advice, I’m desperate. I’ve been staring at my screen like a total idiot. It’s honestly embarrassing because I used to handle high-level, complicated jobs in my previous career, but right now? I feel like a complete amateur.

I am completely lost and honestly, I've been stuck in limbo for days now because I can't get anything to work. I can't even find the icons for replies or messages... Sorry for assuming you were a woman—I can send private messages, but I'm basically locked out of everything else on the forum, the subforums, joining discussions, replying, etc. (it works in some spots but not others). swiftbear86, I ran into similar issues while using US. Have you checked your "Cookies" settings? It might be worth enabling them to see if the "remember me" option actually holds up during login.

Once I enabled "Cookies" and ticked "remember me," the constant auto-logouts stopped. 🙂
