Hi everyone.

Why won't these size commands work to shrink my signature text? I keep getting an error saying "bb size code not allowed."

What part of this isn't clicking for you? Do you seriously need me to break it down in plain English?

I’m running into an issue with the multi-quote feature.

When I click the Multi-quote button(s), they turn red, but when I finally hit Quote on the last post, the result isn't what I'm looking for—it just pulls in the very last post.

I’ve tried this repeatedly, but the outcome is always the same: only the final quote actually shows up. I think I managed to get it to work once, a long time ago, but since then, it hasn't worked a single time.

Whenever I need to cite multiple people, my only workaround is to manually copy and paste each post, adding the

author;26389169 said: tag before and the

tag after every single one. It's tedious, but it's the only way to get it done.

Does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this?

I guess what I can't wrap my head around is how they could just slash the signature requirement a day before the deadline, swap in a different one, and then suddenly refuse to budge on it. That’s the part that doesn't click for me. And hey, if you're offering to be the translator, feel free to go ahead and do it.

Which browser are you running? It’s possible you’ve got some kind of add-on messing with the page layout—something like NoScript or whatever. Just try whitelisting the site and the problem should clear right up.

Most users on forums like this had their BB code access stripped away a while back. Don't ask me why—it's just how things are. Since font size is dictated by the BB code itself, you aren't going to be able to tweak it manually.

I haven't touched Internet Explorer since version six, so I'm pretty much useless when it comes to helping you out with that. You might want to try switching to a different browser. 🙂

What on earth is happening with the emoticons lately? 😕
It seems like most people aren't even using them anymore; instead, they just churn out these massive blocks of text, and to make matters worse, they insist on typing exclusively in ALL CAPS, which leaves me stuck having to manually go back and fix the casing myself!

I took a quick look at the emoticons—most of them seem to be rendering just fine.

While I was busy typing away at my desk today, I found myself grappling with those exact same technical hiccups, though I am delighted to report that everything has smoothed out perfectly now! 👍

Got two issues—I wrote a post and realized this morning I need to tweak the wording. That’s the main thing; tried digging through this thread for an answer but came up empty, and even Google isn't helping me out—clearly I'm doing something wrong. Long intro, I know—but basically, is it possible to edit a post after like ten hours? And second, when I'm browsing a thread, how do I find every single post that mentions a specific keyword?

2. If you're looking for something specific, just hit that "Search this thread" button in the top right corner.
