I've heard that before. πŸ™‚
But I was under the impression that I'd only be notified when someone actually me quotes directly... just so I could jump in and reply or add my two cents...

I was under the impression that I'd only be notified when someone actually reached out. me Quota. I’m not quite sure how one is supposed to respond to that, let alone offer any meaningful commentary.

As far as I can tell, that isn't actually an option on this forum. 🀷

Is there any way to flip the post order?

I’d love for this forum to actually function like every other board on the internet. You know, where the newer posts sit at the bottom, the very first post stays on page one, and the absolute latestβ€”the most recent oneβ€”is waiting for you on the final page.

Basically, I'm looking for a linear mode, just... reversed from how it currently sits here.

Because honestly, the way it's set up right now is just exhausting.😲

I want this forum to actually function like every other decent board out there. I'm looking for a standard layout: newest posts should be at the bottom, the very first post stays on page one, and the absolute latest update shows up on the final page. Let's get this organized.

So, we're talking about linear mode, but essentially the reverse of this oneβ€”an inverted version.

Honestly, this is just getting ridiculous. 😲

At the bottom of every subforum, you'll find... Display options.
You can just pick how you want your threads and posts sorted whenever you feel like it.

It's at the top.

There's linear, hybrid, and some other stuff too.

Personally, I’d prefer linear, but in reverse order.
Why is everyone settled on this setup, with the newest posts always jumping to the top?
Has nobody actually complained about it until now?

Nobody’s really complaining because this is just how things work around here. 🀷 If it doesn't suit your style, feel free to head over to

Just look for this section:
Thread Display Mode
Here you can choose the display mode for threads. For a full explanation of the modes, please view this help page.

You can set it up however you prefer there. πŸ™‚

And then just set things up however you see fit. Does that make sense? I suppose it does. πŸ™‚

The first round is on me when you finally make it out to Cleveland.

Is there any way I can change my birth year? I put down the wrong one when I signed up 😬 (yeah, I totally lied about my age...) and now that I actually want my age to show up on my profile, it’s all messed up.

😳

Why not? Just head over to "EDIT Your Details" and do whatever you want.

You can just keep lying to yourself if you want. 😁

Can't find it anywhere...

Just copy the URL, then either paste it directly into the post, or click (it's right there at the top while you're typing) and paste it there.

Why am I blocked from posting in the banned users section? (well, aside from the obvious reason πŸ™„) I really wanted to quote one of the moderators and ask her something... πŸ₯³

The banned corner is strictly FOR banned users only. It’s there so we can see what people who are actually banned care aboutβ€”like a specific complaint and grievance. No chatting, no taking sides. Just keeps things clean and readable.
If you have a grievance, go post it in the complaints and grievances section.

When you head over to any subforum, you'll spot a button at the top labeled New Thread. Take a look at this image to get a sense of what it looks like.
