Oh boy... I know some people were complaining about the sound quality at the Japanese concert, but personally, I thought it was awesome! It felt just like listening to a gritty old CD—total sonic chaos (even if my wife ended up needing her hearing checked the next day, haha). Maybe it’s just because I was wearing earplugs, though.

Yeah, the sound was killer. Noise rules. Half the crowd practically ran for the exits.😁
They were louder than usual this time, too. They had some weird aunt on the synth, so there wasn't any downtime.😈 Just constant energy.

Btw, Housemartins? Is that the band Norman Cook used to be in?
A buddy mentioned them to me ages ago, but since his taste leans more toward U2 and Bruce Springsteen, I don't pay much attention. Are they the ones?

It’s the exact same deal with Laddio Bollocko—fun fact, the guitarist in LB is actually stone-deaf because he cranked Twin up to 10 and was still hunting for his guitar in the monitors!!!😲 😱 🙂

That second concert felt like a total dalek when they first played... those bass lines absolutely killed me.😎

On another note, I have this incredible "dead tech ii" record featuring a bunch of wild Japanese noise artists (the only bad ones are from, well, New York), and I can't stop thinking about that "II" in the title. Isn't there some killer noise act out there with a "Volume 1"? I’d love to track one down... 🙂
