Even if they did, they’d probably kill you after a race like this. 🤣

Sebastian Vettel and Alonso hitting the pits was actually perfect timing. 😳

If either of them had stayed out even one or two laps longer, they would've completely screwed up and dropped to like 7th or 8th place. 🤣

Plus, right after they pitted, Kobayashi and Senna collided and the SC came out. Going into the pits under the SC would have been absolute perfection. 🙏

Totally agree. If Vettel got hit with one for what he did to Button, then Webber definitely deserves one for this.☕

Well, the refs didn't see it that way!
Even Michael Schumacher wouldn't have walked away clean there; based on the rulebook, he should've caught a penalty even if he wasn't at fault. 🤣

Like I said, they were just laughing it off. 😁

It’s actually fine though. It makes the season incredibly intense, and you can practically cut the tension between Weber and Lewis Hamilton with a knife now. 😬

To be fair, I have no idea what you're even talking about here.😁

They had a massive 36-second cushion over Gumbek, so they basically had all the luxury in the world to do whatever they wanted.

Maybe just one lap earlier, they could have potentially helped Vettel get ahead of Alonso.

Regardless, the decision to pit Alonso at that specific moment was just plain terrible.🙏

Honestly, yeah. If they’d stayed out even one lap longer, they would’ve looked like absolute morons.🤣

They looked pathetic going out on the same lap. Honestly, they would've looked just as stupid if they’d gone out under the SC.🤣

No matter how you look at it, they're just idiots.😬

Besides that, you can tell their lap times have completely fallen off a cliff. Clearly, their tires just gave up on them.

The only stupid thing here was Vettel not pitting sooner. He was a full second faster on those new tires than he was on the old ones.😉

Check out this FIA analysis. [Link]

Check out laps 27 through 32.

Both of them are significantly faster on the harder compounds. Honestly, if Sebastian Vettel had actually stayed on track, that gap wouldn't have shrunk—it would've opened up even more.😳

Those idiots should've just cleared out earlier. 🤦

Can someone please find that 🙏 😁

Lewis Hamilton is top-tier 🙏 Another hat-trick.
I guess I’m starting to hope for the title again—his form is great, assuming the engines actually hold up.

Oh, please. That first place was already in the bag for Lewis Hamilton.

He had total control over the entire race, and it was obvious—he could have easily let Sebastian Vettel close the gap just to pull away again and rebuild that lead.

Congrats to all the Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel fans out there 🙏🙏🙏

P. S. If Mark Webber happens to vanish from the public eye, the first person you should suspect of kidnapping him for a little old-school, heavy-handed interrogation involving some blunt force and rapid acceleration is definitely me 😠

Huge congratulations to Lewis Hamilton on taking the win!👍
That was a masterclass in race management from start to finish; every single time Sebastian Vettel tried to close the gap, Hamilton just cranked up the pace and shut the door before an attack could even materialize. If we’re looking for the idiot of the day, though, it isn't Mark Webber—it's definitely Heikki Kovalainen. 😉
His car was practically falling apart, yet instead of pitting to save his race, he stayed out just to shave one less lap off his deficit. 🤦
It was pure recklessness that could have jeopardized both his own standing and the entire field's results, and then he had the nerve to play the hero with a fire extinguisher once things went south.

Michael Lee4 said:What an absolute idiot 🤦 instead of pitting, he just keeps driving with his car on fire 🤦

I actually think it might have been more dangerous to pull into the pit lane with a burning car than to just clip the barrier like he did here. 😉

I’m guessing all the girls here are rooting for Ferrari? 🙂

You’re making that assumption for the same reasons some guys think women don't follow motorsports just because of their X chromosomes...☕

Women pick teams or drivers based on the same kind of criteria men do, and no, there isn't anything in our genetic code that says we have to root for Ferrari. ☕

Jason Campbell70 said:If I recall correctly, the last time we saw a driver pull off a true "hat-trick"—taking pole, the fastest lap, and the win—was Michael Schumacher back at the 2006 French Grand Prix, right before the Monza race.

There’s no denying it: Ferrari is on a massive upward trajectory.
They didn't just win at Monza, one of the fastest tracks on the calendar with its low downforce setup; they also managed to conquer the street circuit in Singapore.

As for McLaren? It’s looking like a total repeat of the 2007 season. 🙂

They’re sidelining the defending champion and handing the top driver seat to Luis Retardos, who seems determined to mess up every single opportunity he gets. 🤣🤣🤣🙏

Actually, Vettel did it at Silverstone 2009. ☕

And wouldn't you know it, Alonso managed to pull that off twice after your mentioned one, specifically at Monaco and Monza 2007, plus once earlier at Silverstone 2006. So, that would make this his fifth career hat-trick today, wouldn't it? 🙏

Then there's also Button in Malaysia 2009, Hamilton in Japan 2007 and China 2008, along with Massa in Bahrain/Spain 2007 and Valencia/Brazil 2008.

That brings us to a total of 13 hat-tricks since that last one from Schumacher. 😉

I have to admit, there’s something about this route that really draws me in; I actually found myself quite fond of it from that perspective. I'll likely find myself heading out that way in a few years...

It’s honestly pretty refreshing when a guy actually steps up and lays things out clearly like that. 😁
