And you've decided he's a man simply because...? 😬

mistybear87 said:Actually, Vettel did it at Silverstone 2009. ☕
And wouldn't you know it, Alonso managed to pull that off twice after your mentioned one, specifically at Monaco and Monza 2007, plus once earlier at Silverstone 2006. So, that would make this his fifth career hat-trick today, wouldn't it? 🙏
Then there's also Button in Malaysia 2009, Hamilton in Japan 2007 and China 2008, along with Massa in Bahrain/Spain 2007 and Valencia/Brazil 2008.
That brings us to a total of 13 hat-tricks since that last one from Schumacher. 😉

Anyway, just my two cents, but thank God Danny Sullivan was working with the stewards today. He actually understands how street circuits work, so they didn't ruin the race with a bunch of pointless penalties. Though, I’m not so sure Kamikazashi wouldn't have been flagged for shoving Grandpa into the barrier if he hadn't ended up wrecking himself a bit... seemed way too aggressive to me, but hey, they haven't replayed the footage yet...

P. S. If Mark Webber happens to vanish from the public eye, the first person you should suspect of kidnapping him for a little old-school, heavy-handed interrogation involving some blunt force and rapid acceleration is definitely me 😠

My take? Mark Webber is an idiot. It honestly baffles me how he gets away with such blatant nonsense without facing any real consequences.
McLaren just had bad luck; they aren't solely responsible for losing that position.
As for what happened to Lewis, it was a total disaster. Personally, I’d call his move to overtake Webber a masterstroke—not just for this race, but in general. It was a brilliant pass: cunning, aggressive, and classic Lewis-esque. And let’s be clear, he did it by overtaking his direct, biggest rival right there on the track.
Of course, all my rambling would actually mean something if the overtake had worked. I think it did work, but the reckless, inconsiderate Webber refuses to yield under any circumstances. He’s got that scenario burned into his brain. To him, the shame of being overtaken is somehow worse than crashing into or damaging someone else. That's just how he is.
But still, it’s genuinely unfair that he walks away scot-free.
The only thing that might balance the scales is when the "other" drivers from the rival teams step up.

Recently, Blažičko completely botched a statement regarding Michael Schumacher and his final hat-trick, which got me thinking—maybe someone actually whispered the right stat to him. 😳
