Who is the best British band?

More or less—but let's be real, the only thing actually worth listening to is British bands and musicians...

Brit-pop is my absolute favorite. And the older rock stuff? That’s just classic. It can be an inspiration to anyone, really.

Yesterday at a rock club in Indianapolis, a band that sounded just like them played, and they were absolutely pathetic. Honestly, some opening act from Columbus completely buried them; those kids totally crushed them!
No standout musicians in sight, even though they actually played well...

I don't think that guy was in The Cure, but if they were ever part of the scene—sure. The Knuckleheads tore them apart, so it's no surprise they still played a second set. Only embarrassment? I was actually digging their songs, until the drummer told me later that EVERYTHING was just a cover... And apparently, if you recognize half the set, you get a free beer... 😁 I caught the New York Dolls, two from MC5, and Real Kids, but I didn't realize the entire setlist was borrowed. Whatever. The Knuckleheads are back in Indianapolis in a month, this time with Babies. 🙂

I’ve got a photo uploaded, but yesterday I was rocking a dark green coat and a gray checkered cap, just sort of half-dancing near the stage. And yeah, I had a beer in hand. 😁

Pulp is alright... but that last album just didn't hit for me.

The Cure and The Clash definitely win out for the older stuff.
For the newer era, I’m feeling Coldplay, Travis😳, Super Furry Animals, and Radiohead—but only back before they started acting all high and mighty and "experimenting."
