If I had to pick the absolute best band from the UK... hmmm... it would have to be Bal-Sagoth.

Here’s the deal though—geographically speaking, the United States is a massive country, but if we look at how people group things, it's all about those distinct regions and states. It's like how you have different territories making up the whole map.

But, I totally get what you mean! It's like when people use terms that sound totally "normal" to them—like calling something the "Midwest Heartland" even if it doesn't perfectly fit everyone's definition—and then they try to lump us all into one big category. It's so frustrating! Grrr...

But honestly, I'm more of a U2 fan than a Depeche Mode guy. If about 40% of my brain—you know, the part that decides what you actually listen to --is reserved for U2, then 30% goes to Depeche Mode, 10% to Pulp, 10% to Pink Floyd, 5% to Suede, and the last 5% is just for roots and influences. 😁

Oh, hands down—it's definitely Oasis!!! 👍 🙂
