Is there a neurologist or an epileptologist here?

Look, my cousin went to this clinic, Mayo Clinic, over in Chicago—they have this neurologist there, Dr. Trontl, who specializes in epilepsy too. My cousin’s been seeing him for like five or six years now and honestly? He couldn't be happier with the guy.
That's near downtown Chicago if you're looking for the area.

That's over in the downtown area if you're currently living in Washington, D.C.

Thanks.
I'm originally from Orlando, but I moved to Washington, D.C. earlier this year...
There is an excellent neurologist back in Orlando named Silva Butkovic Soldo, but the woman is just so overwhelmed with patients that she doesn't even have the time to listen to what's actually bothering you. It just doesn't work that way.

I'm looking. dentistDoes anyone know a good dentist? Honestly, price isn't my main concern—everyone ends up paying about the same anyway—I just need someone who actually knows what they're doing.
Through Medicare within the local district....?
I’ve been hearing things about Dr. Zrinka Galetić-Stipčević—and some talk regarding Ibler Square and Dr. Davor Žarković—as well as the Austrian Embassy.
Has anyone here actually dealt with them before?
I really need to find a solid dentist.

Thanks.

Chloe Gray86 said:Honestly, I’m obsessed with Azinović🙂 He saved my wisdom tooth when everyone else was just trying to rip it out... we worked on it for like 2 months straight. I was at his office every single week and ended up dropping about $300....

I finally stopped being terrified of the dentist🙂 plus using a laser to clear cavities🙂 was the easiest thing ever... seriously, best experience of my life... huge props to him👍

For real, this guy has insane tech and saves teeth that are basically gone🙏 and this whole story from someone who clearly wasn't even there—claiming some doc doesn't know which tooth hurts😕 and somehow missed a bunch of decay even with X-rays and probes?🤷 Sounds totally sketchy to me.

Is this story actually credible if I’m talking about my own tooth rather than a friend's? 🤔

Honestly, I’m happy if you had a great experience and everything is working perfectly for you, but that’s just my take—regardless of whose hands were involved. To be blunt, I have a bit of a grudge against the name Azinović.

They aren't the only ones who missed issues on certain teeth, either. A friend of mine saw two different dentists, and both of them insisted "everything looks fine," yet she was still in constant pain. It clearly wasn't fine; there ended up being one large filling and a couple of smaller ones, plus a root canal, I think.
There are dentists who do nothing but pull teeth and move straight to prosthetics, then there are those who won't even give you anesthesia, and others who just yell at their patients. On the flip side, some explain everything clearly, while others make you terrified of the very concept of dentistry. Some actually help you overcome that fear...
It’s a mixed bag out there. We all just need to find the one that works for us. 😉

Just because you haven't experienced it personally doesn't mean the story isn't true. 😉
At the end of the day, you and I are just two random people on the internet. I believe everyone should weigh the information they receive and then visit a few offices themselves to see what the doctors say during an exam. Personally, I’d probably go with whichever dentist seems to have the longest waiting list. 🤣

Yeah, I’ve been there too. Someone once told me, "Oh, everything is perfect," only for me to deal with a total disaster later when a cavity appeared under every single filling. 🤦

The "everything is fine" stories are actually the scariest to me, especially seeing how many people have been burned by those exact words. You might as well tell me I have a graveyard in my mouth, patch it up, and *then* tell me everything is great. 😬

And as for that situation where a tooth hurts but you can't pinpoint which one it is? I have plenty of firsthand experience with that. It makes you feel so ridiculous when the only thing you can manage to say is "it hurts," and you can't even describe the sensation because there's no pattern to it, and you can't even replicate the conditions that trigger the pain. :/

Hey everyone, I’m dealing with some serious vein issues in my legs lately, so I’m on the hunt for a solid phlebologist. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’d love to hear about your own experiences or if you know any specialists through people you trust—whether they work in private practice or at a major hospital system... thanks in advance!

A few years back, I decided to make the move to Cleveland. Up until recently, I’ve actually been in pretty great shape. But man, the last two years at work have just absolutely wrecked me—the stress was off the charts, and it eventually spiraled into some serious health issues. So now,
I’m reaching out to see if anyone living in the Cleveland area could point me toward a good general practitioner. I'm looking for someone who isn't just highly skilled and reliable, but also a genuinely decent human being. I need a doctor who treats you like a real person, not just some piece of trash on a conveyor belt. I hope you guys get where I'm coming from, so please, if you have any recommendations, let me know.

I am looking for some recommendations for a dentist located in NYC who specializes in high-quality veneers (and crowns).
If anyone here has firsthand experience working with the Mayo Clinic, please reach out via private message or shoot an email to amelie77@gmail.com. 🙂

I attempted to schedule an appointment with an orthopedist at the Mayo Clinic, only to receive this email:

"Dear Patient,

Our schedule is completely booked through the end of the year. We will begin accepting appointments for next year in November. A new orthopedist is expected to join our staff toward the end of August, so you may reach out to us then.

Thank you for your understanding"

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to secure an appointment sooner without resorting to a private clinic?

I need a recommendation for a solid private ENT specialist. I need test results fairly urgently regarding an ear issue. Thanks for any leads 🙂. I’ll likely head to a hospital as well, so if anyone has suggestions there, I'd appreciate it. I'm assuming either Mayo Clinic or maybe a local university hospital.

Has anyone here dealt with the tinnitus center in Chicago? What are the doctors and prices like? Thanks

Does anyone know a good gynecologist in San Diego? Ideally, I’d prefer someone outside the downtown area, though I don't mind if they are right in the center 😉
It isn't an emergency, but I really need to switch from my current doctor, Dominic in the suburbs. She is incredibly rude and unpleasant, and on top of that, she constantly miswrites my prescriptions with some ridiculous error.

Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction regarding where I can get an ultrasound
for my elbow out in California (honestly, I wouldn't mind driving out to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Newport Beach, or even Cleveland) and what kind of damage I'm looking at price-wise?
I’ve been dealing with some massive, chronic issues with my elbow and the pain is just brutal, so there's
no way in hell I can wait two or three months for an appointment with my primary doctor
—it's just not happening. I’m thinking about just heading straight to a private clinic instead. Also, if anyone happens to know, is this the same type of thing pregnant women get done? You know, like that 3D or 4D stuff? Is that actually important for what I need? If anyone knows, please let me know. THANKS!
