Dr. Žugaj is also in private practice (just a quick Google search should confirm that).
Thanks again. I did a little digging online and looked into both of them. 🙂

Does anyone have any insight on seeing Dr. Višnja Škerk at the Fran Mihaljević hospital, specifically within the urogenital infection department? Has anyone here had any firsthand experience there?

So, I recently moved to Miami and I'm looking for some guidance on choosing the right doctors here. First off, I need a solid general practitioner—does anyone have a recommendation for someone who is truly the best? Regarding gynecology, I’ve heard through the grapevine that Dr. Milka Hoti is the absolute top choice, so I think I'll go ahead and book with her. As for a dentist, I really need to find a woman who accepts Medicare, since private practice fees are just way out of my budget right now. Ideally, I’m looking for someone similar to Mirela Veselinovic over in Cleveland; she was absolutely wonderful, incredibly gentle, and uses such modern, high-tech equipment that you don't feel a thing, even if you have a massive toothache or a bad infection. That kind of painless experience is exactly what I'm after. If you could share any advice or suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much. Best regards.

I lived in NYC for seven years and never once found a decent doctor.😁 I was constantly asking locals for recommendations, but I never got a single straight answer.🤷 Primary care: I saw Dr. Mladen Antisin... honestly, don't even bother going there!
...but I did hear about a good doctor (can't remember her name) who has an office on Voštarnica, right below the Walmart... specifically next to the Chase Bank on Voštarnica... maybe try asking around there. I don't know about a gynecologist; I went privately to Dr. Vlatković near Orgulj. He's an excellent doctor! And as for teeth, I ended up traveling all the way back home to get things fixed because I once fell into the wrong hands... I won't let just anyone near my mouth again.😁

Go see Dr. Pezelj at the Križina hospital! 👍
He’s pleasant, kind, and highly professional.

Professor Škerk is fantastic. I actually did a rotation there during my residency. I was specializing in family medicine and spent 14 days on her unit. She’s an incredible expert, but more importantly, she’s totally down-to-earth. Not stuck-up at all like a lot of my other colleagues.

Does anyone happen to know a solid gynecologist (specifically a woman) in the Columbus area who’s currently accepting new patients under Medicare? Thanks.

Can someone hook me up with a good GP who takes Medicare around the Laginjin area or somewhere nearby?
Thanks in advance

My sister's heading down to Miami this year to start her studies, so I'm looking for two things:
a) a solid ophthalmologist, ideally someone who knows their stuff with contact lenses
b) a good gynecologist, but preferably not at a private practice
And yeah, I know, I'm being a little picky😁
thanks everyone :*

Looking for recommendations for a general practitioner in the Spanish Flu and Malenice area.
I called Medicare, and they said there are openings with Dr. Ljiljana Predović, Josipa Rodić, Snježana Stipković, and Marija Mažuranić.
If anyone here is currently seeing them or knows a solid doctor in that neighborhood, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I've heard nothing but praise for Dr. Majić, but apparently, her roster is completely full.
As for Dr. Živković, I was told not to even dream about switching to her.
Thanx.

I'm 15 and I highly doubt I have any issues
with my thyroid, but could someone recommend a solid endocrinologist out in Miami?

Does anyone have the scoop on endocrinologist and gynecologist Dr. Anđelka Jurić Vitanović? I just scheduled an appointment with her.

I tried to DM you but it's not working... anyway... my advice? Stay as far away from that woman as possible. If you're going private, it's fine—she's sweet, polite, and all that. But the second you switch over to using Medicare (like I did), everything goes straight to hell. The exam lasts maybe two minutes; you barely get a word out before she's done. I had candida, and she insisted it was nothing. A private doctor actually charged me $67, looked at it, and prescribed a cream... meanwhile, I've been in pain down there for weeks. This lady actually insisted it was just from having too much sex... the private doc said it was a ruptured cyst and other stuff, but I won't ramble on... and looking at these forums, some girls are even implying she doesn't sterilize her tools, which led to infections. I can't say for sure, but she really grossed me out.
Bottom line: if you pay full price, she's great, otherwise she's unprofessional, rude, and just plain obnoxious...
I'm also hunting for a new one through Medicare, just so you know.🤣

Anyway, my impression: if you pay top dollar, it's fine. Otherwise? Unprofessional, rude, and downright obnoxious...
Just so we're clear, I'm also looking for a new doctor under Medicare.🤣
I'm going to see her privately, so hopefully it'll be okay...

I really need to see a dermatologist ASAP because I've spotted a mole that looks pretty suspicious. Does anyone know a doctor who can squeeze me in this month or maybe next at the latest? The doctors at the major hospitals are booking appointments out until next year! 🙄
#2678 ·
Hey,
I need an eye doctor ASAP. I've been wearing glasses forever, but now things are getting messy, and the wait times at public hospitals are a joke. I’d prefer somewhere private, but ideally, they'd still accept my insurance. Anyone got a recommendation?

I am looking for a decent general practitioner and a dentist in the West Side area. Please. 🙂

They tried to pull that same stunt on me too, but honestly? I wasn't about to sit around waiting for them to get their act together.🙄 So, I finally took the plunge and headed over to the Lesić Clinic on Jurišićev. Honestly? They practically rushed me through the door almost immediately. I’m pretty happy with how everything went, but just a heads-up—this is a private practice. If you're trying to go through Medicare, you're looking at a massive waitlist no matter what you need help with. It's just one of those things, I guess.
