I was wondering if anyone could provide a recommendation for a general practitioner in Seattle, specifically in the western area—ideally near Viškovo if possible. I am looking for a doctor or doctor who is pleasant to deal with, doesn't make things unnecessarily complicated, and is actually still accepting new patients.
Many thanks.

Anyone got a recommendation for a good general practitioner around the Prečka area or somewhere nearby who’s actually taking on new patients? Thanks!

I'm looking for recommendations—who, where, and why are they the best?

P.S. When exactly does the switch happen? Like, what's the specific window for transferring medical records?

Can anyone recommend a good general practitioner? Ideally someone who actually knows their stuff and doesn't make getting referrals such a headache. My current doctor makes me wait forever just to rush through a two-minute appointment before moving to the next patient. Maybe checking the top-rated doctors on the clinic's website would be worth it?

Is there actually a legitimate dermatologist out there—someone who isn't just some total fake? Does one even exist in America?

Hi everyone! My gastroenterologist just handed me a referral for an abdominal ultrasound and some celiac disease testing. So far, the only response I've gotten from the hospital system is an appointment scheduled for May 2018. Honestly, I want to get this sorted out as soon as possible, so I'm considering going private at a clinic in Washington, D.C. Does anyone have any recommendations or good experiences to share? Thanks in advance! 🙂

My husband's colleague visited the Amruševa Clinic to see Katja g. Ravić regarding this exact same issue, and she was extremely satisfied with the care she received.

Got diagnosed with allergic asthma about 15 years ago. It’s been getting progressively worse lately—honestly, pretty bad—but I haven't actually gone in for any real testing or checkups... yet.

So, after some nasty cold basically wiped out half my lungs and made everything feel ten times worse than usual, my doctor suggested I head over to Rockefeller. Personally, I’ve always felt like specialized hospitals are the way to go—they usually have way more experience and see cases just like mine all the time—but I’ve never actually stepped foot in one. What's the deal with a place like that? Is it worth it? 🤔

I really just need to find a solid, reliable diagnostician. Someone who actually knows their stuff.
Does anyone here have a recommendation?
It doesn't have to be at that specific clinic, I'm open to other options too.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations for Miami. Honestly, I don't really care which neighborhood it is. As long as it's a good area, I suppose that should be enough.

"Maid's knee"... What’s the actual medical term for that? I need help here.

I’ve heard people say it, but the name has totally slipped my mind.
I’m actually dealing with it myself right now. I've been digging through the web, but searching by that old-school nickname isn't getting me anywhere!
It’s basically what happens when your knees get swollen from spending way too much time kneeling. You know, like tilers or flooring contractors.
They get all puffy and swollen, but there's zero pain—no discomfort at all—it just looks noticeably bulged out.

I wasn't sure where else to turn, so I figured this was a good spot to ask.
Thanks! 👍

Prof. Dr. Mirko Ivkić at the UniMedic Center. I am extremely satisfied with his work and would definitely recommend him.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a private allergist/immunologist?

My little one is currently being seen over at the Klaicev clinic, and they just ordered some more tests for us to run before scheduling an appointment for February 28th... which honestly feels like an eternity away. I’m thinking about getting those labs done now and then heading to a private specialist while we wait for that official slot to open up—just to get things moving faster...

Tarle, back in the day, it was actually Dr. Tarle who finally caught my gallstones after they'd been tormenting me for nearly a decade (including one scary hospital stay!), while the private doctors couldn't see a thing on their ultrasounds.

They have top-tier equipment—I actually just went there for an abdominal scan recently.
