Thanks so much, I found the number in the newspaper.😉>

Hey everyone,
I need to put together a meal plan for medical reasons, so I’m looking for recommendations for a solid, experienced nutritionist in San Francisco (or maybe even Washington, D.C.). I need an actual professional here—not someone just trying to hawk weight loss supplements or whatever. My last attempt at fixing my health issues was all about food balance, and it didn't go great.
Thanks for any leads.

Anyone got a recommendation for a reliable and sane private dentist in the Washington, D.C. area? I need someone reasonable on price, too—I went to one guy recently where a single filling cost me $150 and lasted about a week...

It’s common knowledge that if you try to go through the Mayo Clinic, you'll be sitting on a waiting list for months. Everyone flocks to them or to Vineyard. Honestly, they aren't even rude if you show up in person and play it just right so they can't just brush you off.

In my case, they were actually pretty helpful—told me straight up that there are plenty of dermatology clinics in Washington, D.C., and that any decent dermatologist should be able to spot changes easily, so why wait three months for an appointment with them? Then she started listing some local offices for me...

So, I took that same referral, swung by a local health center, and got exactly what I needed at a dermatology clinic that same day. I saw a doctor I really trust, and after a super thorough exam, all my worries were cleared up.

My experience with Sunburst was actually great, and I have nothing but praise for the kind staff, nurses, and doctors, except for Nurse Cherry at reception 😠
it’s honestly hard to deal with that much arrogance, unprofessionalism, and rudeness all coming from one person in a role like that 👎
Otherwise, everyone else is incredibly professional and friendly, creating such a welcoming atmosphere—it's just a shame she ruins it

Does anyone know where I can get dental X-rays (panoramic) done here in NYC where the image quality actually isn't trash? I don't want to have to go back and redo the whole thing just because my dentist can't see anything clearly.
I heard about this place called Dentist—it’s new in NYC over on Broadway 19. Apparently, they use tech that cuts radiation by like 75% and the images are crystal clear, but it'll set me back $67.
Has anyone actually been there? Any reviews? I'm looking for anything other than that place on Broadway 19 because they are absolutely terrible!!

I would highly recommend May Check (Under Wall 10). She is incredibly kind and truly knows her stuff. She identified my issue immediately, performed a biopsy, and confirmed the diagnosis. I won't even bother mentioning the other dermatologist; I wasted so much time struggling with various creams and lotions that just irritated my skin, all while she failed to realize what was actually happening.

Can anyone recommend a good pulmonologist—either private or through a major hospital system?
My boyfriend is dealing with chronic bronchitis and it’s constant—we're talking multiple flare-ups a year. He's coughing up blood, his lungs hurt, he can barely breathe... it's a lot. His GP keeps sending him for chest X-rays, blood work, allergy tests—the whole standard routine—but honestly, I don't think it's normal to be coughing up blood like this, regardless of the bronchitis (especially at just 21). We really need a specialist's opinion. Thanks.

My boyfriend is dealing with chronic bronchitis and ends up having issues a hundred times a year (coughing up blood, chest pain, shortness of breath, etc.). His GP keeps sending him for lung scans, blood work, and allergy tests, and everything comes back looking totally fine. Still, coughing up blood doesn't seem normal to me, regardless of the bronchitis—especially at 21—and I really want a professional opinion. Thanks.

Head toward Jordan. It's a specialized pulmonary clinic. Honestly, coughing up blood doesn't strike me as just "chronic bronchitis." That's more indicative of things like TB or tumors... but hey, that's just my amateur take on it...go to Jordan

Hemoptysis usually points toward a thoracic infection or perhaps something more serious, like an embolism or carcinoma. It can also pop up with bronchitis. Given the age here, the likelihood of it being a major illness is slim. Regardless, you should go ahead and get some further clinical testing done over at Jordan.

Alright, thanks for the input.
He’s been dealing with this for years now, and he’s basically had bronchitis since he was five.
We're going to head over there to get checked out—because even if it isn't anything major (and I doubt it's a tumor since this has been dragging on for so long), it's still not right. We need a proper diagnosis so we can actually treat it.

We're heading to the clinic to get eyes on it. Even if it isn't anything life-threatening—and frankly, I doubt it's a tumor given how long these symptoms have been lingering—it still isn't right. It needs a proper diagnosis so we can actually treat it properly.

It needs an investigation. Honestly, the odds of this being some "dangerous" malignancy are negligible. It could easily just be a symptom of his chronic bronchitis, though recurrent hemoptysis—especially in younger patients—can sometimes point toward a bronchial adenoma, which is a benign neoplasm. A pulmonologist will likely push for a bronchoscopy and a CT scan. The main thing is that nothing showed up as a "shadow" on the X-ray...

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid, budget-friendly surgeon for ear surgery?

I'm looking to keep the cost under $6,000 $0.00—honestly, every specialist I've reached out to so far is quoting closer to $10,000 $0.00 just for correcting existing ears. It feels excessive, if you ask me. 😠

It seems a bit steep for such a routine procedure...

Greetings!

I am looking for recommendations for excellent doctors and surgeons in Miami. I would love to hear about the professionals you truly trust, whether for someone currently dealing with health issues or just for anyone looking to stay ahead of the curve with preventive care.

It would be incredibly helpful if you could also share exactly what made such a positive impression on you—what specifically makes these physicians and surgeons stand out enough for you to give them your heartfelt endorsement?!!?

I'm looking for a dentist who does work under general anesthesia. I'm based in Des Moines, but I wouldn't mind driving out to San Francisco if that's what it takes.

Ugh, yeah, so I’ve got those annoying prominent ears, and, like, I’m turning 18 soon, and right now I can't even tie my hair up properly. My hair is super thick and long, which is already a total nightmare in this summer heat, but my ears still poke through the hair, and it feels just... gross. Honestly, I've decided I'm going to get surgery. I've done all my research, but you wouldn't believe it—the older folks in my family are totally blocking me from doing it. It's so frustrating because I remember being such a little kid, coming home crying so many times because other kids were being mean to me about it. I have so many emotional scars from it, like, zero self-confidence left, and yet they still won't let me do it or pay for it. I seriously cannot believe it. Would you guys really deny your own kid something that is literally destroying their mental health? 😠 Does anyone have advice on how I can scrape together enough money to cover this myself? I really don't want to go through any public assistance programs because, honestly, I'm terrified they'll just mess it up, and since you only get one shot at this, I want it done perfectly. Any ideas on costs? Doctors? Personal experiences?

If you can't get a hold of anyone—and honestly, I don't know much about ear stuff—I did hear about this one doctor who handles all kinds of surgeries over in Des Moines. He's got two German patients coming in today, then tomorrow they're headed for surgery; one's getting her nose fixed and some issues with sweat glands, since she sweats like crazy, and the other is looking at mouth or lip work. I actually called him earlier just to coordinate their appointments and lab results.

You could always give him a ring and ask. I can send you his number via DM if you want.

Hey everyone,

Can someone please recommend a good GP? Either private or public—preferably on the East Side of town...
I’ve been scrolling through this forum and I see similar questions popping up constantly, but nobody actually gives any real answers...

Thanks in advance.
