So, back when I was in school, they used to play all kinds of music—mostly just bubblegum pop and the Beatles (if that's how you spell it)—but they don't play anything anymore because, get this—our principal actually follows the Beatles law

which basically means if they wanted to blast a Madonna track during lunch, they’d actually have to pay up for it. It's wild that my school is the only one dealing with stuff like that... seriously, just our school...

To actually spark some creativity? You can't beat deep spiritual house with those African rhythms, or even some soulful jazz stuff. It would help kids develop a sense of movement and wake up those natural instincts that have been buried under all the garbage they're exposed to these days. *** 🙂

Btw. It wasn't an issue when we were listening to Tarkan or Sting's Desert Rose. To be clear, those Islamic songs are Ilahi and Qasida 🙂 whereas an MC definitely isn't that kind of deal

Ugh, Prodigy. So, AONO was supposed to drop around March, but since there hasn’t been a single announcement or even a hint of a release date, I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. Honestly, we don't even know which track is going to be the lead—is it Trigger, Nuclear, No Souvenir, Vacation, AONO? Or maybe something else entirely?

I have no idea, I don't recall... I doubt I even read that thread... but regardless, the important thing is that you've recognized the issue. I assume you've attempted to address it, though such things don't resolve overnight. It is a gradual process, and perhaps you will succeed in changing, especially now that you realize it's a problem.
