Ugh, I swear, nothing gets under my skin quite like cyclists who insist on riding right on the sidewalk—and then they have the nerve to honk at me like *I'm* the one in their way! Honestly, it’s enough to drive me crazy. At this rate, I might just start carrying a baseball bat around with me—just a little "oops" tap to the front wheel or a nudge over the handlebars. Seriously, what is wrong with people? 😠

You ever hit up Ferrari? Those guys won't stop honking... even when there’s plenty of room to pull through, they just go honk-honk-honk, goddammit😠

There’s just something about seeing five cyclists lined up perfectly behind a streetcar, all just waiting for the light to change in downtown Chicago. It's honestly such a vibe.

Yeah, I'm with you there—there are definitely some idiots out there who ride57694792 miles/h on the sidewalk without giving a damn if anyone's actually walking there. Because of them, elderly folks see a bike and look at you like you're an alien, then immediately start acting like they've been attacked.😁

There are a few, but pedestrians usually take them over. It gets frustrating. I end up passing people "just a little" faster and "just a little" closer than I should... 😁

Look, I’m always stuck on those paths because honestly, I can't stand that whole "cyclist ego" vibe. Especially when I'm just trying to take a peaceful stroll down Fifth Avenue, barely finding enough room to walk, and then some idiot on a bike starts honking at me. Seriously, screw those obnoxious machines. 🙂

It's basically like saying, "I ride my bike right down the middle of the road because I hate how arrogant drivers are, so I have to prove myself by being even stupider."

Actually, I’m talking about the arrogance people show at crosswalks. I rarely even use bike paths unless I'm in New York City, where they honk at me constantly even though there's barely any room for pedestrians! As for why I feel this way, I don't really have a rational reason—I just can't stand cyclists. There’s that scene in Natural Born Killers where they shoot that cyclist on the road, and then Woody Harrelson comments, "I couldn't resist." I loved that part. And then there’s that old anecdote about Joseph Goebbels at some reception back in the thirties, explaining to a guy something along the lines of, "We should eliminate all Jews," while laying out his reasoning. The guy just nods along the whole time, and at the end of the speech, he adds, "And cyclists too." When Goebbels asks, "Why cyclists?" the guy responds, "Why Jews?" Even though that story is really just about how pointless it is to argue for hating a specific group and works as a clever little joke, I find it interesting because I always add—of course, we shouldn't eliminate anyone—but targeting cyclists isn't a bad idea. Obviously, I'm joking and exaggerating, but some people on bikes can be seriously irritating. And since we're talking music, which is our actual topic, remember how Nico was the life of the party for the Stereolab singer? Matt, watch out.😁
