I've got a quick favor to ask.

Any chance I could swap out my username? I'm really feeling the name Mr. X.
Now, looking at the system, I see there's already a handle like that, so I'm guessing it might be a no-go since that user hasn't logged in for three years. But hey, if you can make it happen, I'll take it!

If that's totally off the table, maybe a version without the space would work? I noticed there's another username out there too, but honestly, they haven't touched their account since 2007 and only have about 15 posts. Seems pretty inactive to me, right? If we could go with Mr.X instead, I think that would definitely meet the criteria.

Look, I totally get the "under 50 posts" rule mentioned in point one, but I’m asking you guys to please just make an exception here since I’ve never once changed my handle in all this time. If I missed the window to do this while my post count was low, I’d really like to exercise that right now. Honestly, I don't see any objective reason to deny this. We aren't talking about swapping out a legal name (like changing Mark to John), we're just talking about adjusting a forum handle. Plus, I already laid out some perfectly good, valid reasons why the new one would work—one of the options I suggested is basically wide open and hasn't been claimed yet. Please, just consider my request. It’s not even a massive overhaul since part of the old handle stays the same, and more importantly, I haven't touched my username in 11 years! I feel like anyone who meets these criteria should be able to use that exception. So, I’m officially resubmitting my request to have my handle updated. Thanks.

The whole point of changing a handle is to ditch those annoying numbers altogether. If you’re interested, I can look into whether we can free up the "Tinka" username for you.
