Look, I don't have an issue with the request itself, but I can't help but notice that some people who asked for changes nearly a month after I did have already seen their nicknames updated, yet mine is still sitting there waiting...

Honestly, it doesn't matter when they were last online or how many posts they've dropped... if the username is taken, it's taken. Period.

I couldn't find a thread about what to do when you totally forget your password and your email address is basically dead, so I guess I'm just gonna post it here...😁 My first account was under the name stormygardener25, but since all this mess happened, I ended up making a clone. Is it going to be an issue if I'm registered under this handle now, since it's pretty much the same thing except I added a two at the end... even though I'd honestly much rather have my old account and all my posts back, but that's just how it goes when you're someone who can't seem to remember a single password...😠 oh, and would it be possible to just close my old account since I can't get into it anymore?

If you want to get back into that old account, just shoot me a private message. Let me know what the old email associated with Shick was and give me your new, working one, and I'll go ahead and update it for you. Once that's done, you'll get a temporary password sent straight to your new inbox. 🙂

For crying out loud, "papi" has one post, "lova" has three, and because of those two I can't even change my handle.🙂

And again, just imagine if they actually go through with taking someone's handle, and then tomorrow some poor soul tries to log in only to realize their identity is just... gone. It’s totally unfair, you know? I mean, you'd be pretty pissed off about it 🙂
Bar it's not like coming up with a new one is rocket science, though honestly, your current nickname is pretty cool, so I guess I don't really get why you're even looking to swap it out 🙂
