Just checking in to see if this decision is still standing... Honestly, I'm just completely exhausted by this whole mess regarding my lack of a defined identity. 😁
#844 ·
I don't think that's actually happening, if you're talking about people just snatching up other people's handles, because I still remember your username from back when we were on the Big Brother thread and I honestly think it's one of the more unique ones on this whole forum 😁

No, I wasn't suggesting I take over someone else's handle; that would go against everything I stand for... 😳
What I meant was, can I still reach out to Tyndall with this approval? It’s been about six months since we last spoke, and you know how it goes—that official documentation has to be less than six months old to be valid. 😬
I was thinking of adopting a persona, maybe something like Zekoslava... so I wanted to see if I could just change my username instead of starting from scratch. It would be much easier to keep the reputation I've already built, which Velia confirmed is possible.
Do you recognize me from the Big Brother threads? 🤔 Big Brother? Oh, goodness no, I don't watch it. In all my time on these forums, I've never even touched those streaming services, and honestly, I don't even own a television set. Even back when I did have one, I barely used it, and I certainly never sat through Big Brother. But it doesn't really matter; as long as you remember who I am, the details are secondary... 😁

Ahaaa 🙂
So look, I caught sight of that handle somewhere and just really liked it, which is why I made sure to commit it to memory right away 🙂
And honestly, don't go changing it, because you've got that female avatar going on, so it's pretty obvious you're a woman, and that nickname is seriously top-tier 🙂

Give me a break. 😢
I was just explaining to one of the ladies on here how I’ve managed to maintain this cluttered forum identity that’s still technically female... 😢 😁
So I finally just said, "That's it, I'm changing it!"

So, they finally greenlit that change over at Apple—which, if you ask me, is actually a step in the right direction for once. Honestly, why does it take them this long to get things right? Anyway, if you want to get your settings updated, just reach out to rustydrifter10 and get it sorted.
I don't know what to tell you—some people just seem to have an easier time navigating the chaos than others. It’s almost frustrating to watch from the sidelines, isn't it? You spend all this time trying to play by the rules, thinking there's some kind of logic to how things work in this country, only to see someone else breeze right through because they happened to be standing in the right place at the right time. Is it luck? Maybe. Or maybe the whole system is just rigged to favor certain types of momentum. Either way, it leaves the rest of us wondering why we bother sweating the small stuff when the big picture is already decided. kaže:
Is it possible to get into Gerald Barrett3?
If that makes you happy... well, go ahead and give rustydrifter10 a call.

No.
I can't believe I'm even sitting here typing this out—it feels like a waste of breath, really—but sometimes you just have to get it all out there before the cynicism completely takes over. Is anyone else feeling this? It’s like we’re all just circling the same drain, waiting for something to actually change, but nothing ever does. Does anyone honestly believe the system is working for us? Because from where I’m standing, it looks more like a rigged game designed to keep us running in place while the big players at places like ExxonMobil laugh all the way to the bank. It’s exhausting. You try to do things the right way, follow the rules, play by the book, and what do you get? Nothing. Just more noise and more empty promises from people who wouldn't know hard work if it hit them in the face. I mean, look at how things operate in cities like Chicago or even NYC—it's all smoke and mirrors. We're told everything is fine, that the economy is booming, but then you look at your own bank account and realize the math just doesn't add up. Why is it that the harder you work, the less you seem to have to show for it? Anyway, I'm probably just rambling now. It’s easy to get caught up in the frustration of it all. But I'd love to hear if anyone else feels like they're just shouting into a void here. Or maybe it's just me? Probably. The user says:
Can we get a name change for Donna Mitchell2?
Sure thing. I'll shoot a DM over to rustydrifter10.

That works too. Just take a look at what was posted above.

Please update my Nicole Sullivan94
And fix the spacing, please.
Also, maybe think about picking a shorter handle so people don't get lost in this nonsense current one? Ideally without any special characters.

We were actually the ones who requested the change in the first place, and we were told to reach out to Tyndall, yet our nickname still hasn't been updated at all, so I guess we should probably check back in with rustydrifter10?
#856 ·
Hey, feel free to reach out to me directly, but could you please just drop a link to the specific post where your change was actually approved? I really need to double-check everything on my end so I don't have to go hunting through the threads to find you later.
Thanks so much! 🙂

Can I change my name on Urban.?
Well, there is an Urban, but it’s not exactly buzzing with activity, so I don't think anyone would get confused. Honestly, I just want to change my handle because this weird mix of uppercase and lowercase letters is driving me crazy, plus I had to add a number when I signed up. I know the rule about periods, but clearly, there are exceptions.

Can't use it—it's got a period in it.
And what else can be done—does it actually have to include ".org"?
You don't really need the "org" part—you can just call me Joshua Jones10 if you want. But please, don't call me Reddit.com.

How about Chicago then?
That works. Get in touch with Miami.
