Show me the proof, or it’s just noise. ☕

Real 13 is like this:

Dammit. Just took a nasty fall. Now my front teeth are gone.👍

Yes.👍

No.👍

honestly I don't even know what you guys were typing before, doesn't even matter at this point

Nah, if you do that, you won't even see the nickname of the person you're quoting or a link back to their original post. So, honestly? You might as well just do what I always do.

So, it was my first time. Honestly? Not sure how to even describe the feeling. Just one of those things where you finally step up to the plate and realize everything you thought you knew was totally off. You ever have that happen? Where you think you're prepared, but then reality just hits you in the face? Yeah. That was me.
Just once, the first light breaks. That's it.🥳
What's up, man?🤣

What exactly am I supposed to delete, what do I need to add, or which buttons should I be clicking to get everything looking right? Honestly, I’ve been scrolling through these forums reading one person say one thing and then another person saying the complete opposite, and it’s leaving me totally lost—nothing I try seems to work! Can someone just give me a straight answer, like a standard forum setup where you list the username and then the text right next to it? I’m seriously at my wit's end here. 😕 Thanks in advance 🙂

Where exactly am I missing the mark? If you could provide some more detailed guidance, I’d appreciate it.

And why exactly is that the case?

My process is a bit more convoluted than most—I tend to quote the entire block, strip away the parts that don't serve my point, provide my response, and then repeat the cycle by pasting the full quote again only to prune it once more.
It’s stalling, and we’re nearly at the finish line...

Here is how I’m approaching this (I’ll provide as much detail as possible), From the very beginning....):
To quote a post, you simply hit the Quote button to trigger the quoted block; then, highlight the specific section of text you intend to address and click the icon—that little speech bubble symbol—to finalize your comment. Wrap Quote the designated portion of the text should be enclosed within quote tags at both the beginning and the end Wrap QuoteI will append my commentary following that Wrap Quote at the end; I’ll highlight the second section once more; add the icon again; and then follow up with another comment right after the quote.

It seems my formatting has gone completely sideways; everything—from my own commentary down to those smaller nested quotes—is getting swallowed up by one massive, oversized quote block at the end of the post. It makes sense, I suppose, given that my own remarks are nested within the primary quote block... wouldn't you agree?
I feel as though I am missing a crucial step in my process, or perhaps there is a fundamental flaw in my approach that remains stubbornly out of reach, yet despite my efforts, the error eludes everyone's perception.🤷
Everyone keeps telling me the same thing: highlight the text, hit the icon, leave a comment. So, I follow the instructions to the letter, but when you look at the actual results... well, the outcome speaks for itself.
Something isn't quite clicking, so I would appreciate it if someone with a bit of patience could take a look at my task list and help me pinpoint exactly where my logic is faltering.🙂

Alright, why wouldn't it work? I click on the post right above Jonathan Thomas28's, hit that multi-quote button on the right—it turns red—then I click the quote button on his post, and somehow only his text shows up.

It’s working perfectly fine for me. I just click on , it turns into , which effectively means the number of quotes you want minus one. Then, once I'm done, I just hit on the last one and boom—everything is bundled into a single post. Simple enough, right?

I'm doing the exact same thing, I swear...🤷

Alright, let me try this again... I'll quote both your post and mine using that method. Only mine should show up. Watch this 🤣:

I’m betting the issue lies somewhere within the browser itself. If you've got an ad-blocker running—something like NoScript, for instance—you’ll probably need to whitelist the site to get things moving properly.

Otherwise, it might just be a matter of tweaking your settings to allow cookies or adjusting some other privacy restriction in your browser options.

Try clearing your cookies—specifically your browser history—up in the tools menu at the top.
