FAQ - Multi-quote

I need some assistance here... everyone else seems to have this figured out, but I am completely clueless when it comes to this stuff. Could someone please explain how to insert a "quote" when I want to reply to specific parts of someone's post? Please, help!!! 😲

You didn't even include a link to his original post, so why not try my usual trick? Just grab the tag from the very end of the post and paste it right after the first section you actually want to comment on.

let me see how that looks

You didn't even include a link back to his original post, so just do what I always do: grab that tag from the end of the message and paste it right after the first chunk of text you actually want to comment on.

You're just quoting a link back to his original post, so you could always do what I usually do—just grab the tag from the end of the post and slap it onto the end of the first section you actually want to comment on.

Let me see how that looks.

Curious, honestly sucks reading your stuff in here 😬
Do you want me to send you a screenshot showing how to break up your posts without getting flagged by the mods?

Oh, please, by all means, 😁 Look, I’m struggling here, and I just can’t seem to get it right. 😠
For example, I've had people quote me in pieces where they tuck their own comment right under every single snippet I wrote—even when it explicitly says the reply is from them—and of course, I end up looking like the one being flagged because they're quoting me. Now, I want to be able to do the exact same thing. I don't want it to be just one big blockquote; I want every little part I'm replying to to show exactly who said it, regardless of whether it's one person or five different people!

Ugh, I hope you know what I mean. 🙂

I added some spacing to the first set of quotes just so you could see what the Code should look like—in the second set, I stripped the spaces out so the Code is properly formatted.

Look, I’ll give you an example here. I know how to break a post, but what I’m actually trying to do is make sure every single blue highlight says it’s from
. You get where I'm coming from? If I leave that last bracket in there, it shows up as being from you, but then I end up stuck inside the blue section 🙂

Thanks for the help 🙂
