That was a fascinating race; hats off to Brawn GP. As for Ferrari and those two absolute clowns, I simply refuse to give them even a moment of my time.

I honestly don't even have the energy to write anything.
Last year, I mentioned once that instead of Kimi Raikkonen, I’d love to see Sebastian Vettel and Robert Kubica driving for Ferrari this season.
Hey everyone.

KERS—you can tell there’s actual potential there, but it feels like all that power just gets swallowed up by this chaotic mess of diffusers and aero. And don't even get me started on the tires. What kind of rubber is this where they can't even sustain performance for 15 or 20 laps? These ultra-softs are basically disintegrating after four or five laps—is that some kind of joke? It makes me think back to 2005—I think I actually nailed the year right—when they used one set of tires for the whole weekend. As for Ferrari, their strategy was just... meh. They really should have just loaded up Massa and Kimi with extra fuel and called it a day. (Though, honestly, I’m still wondering what on earth happened to Massa.) Huge props to Gumbek, Rubens Barrichello, and Toyota, though—they drove an absolute masterclass 😉

Jenson Button really deserves it, and honestly, the whole Brawn GP operation is just one massive 🙏🙏

Vettel and Robert Kubica were looking a bit... 😂😂
today.
Hamilton 🙏🙏🙏 stuck in that fourth-place bucket...
Alonso 🙏

That Ferrari duo is just 🙂

Piquet, totally expected... 😁

That was one of the better races I’ve watched, despite how much it pissed me off seeing what happened to Robert Kubica. I'm still a big BMW Sauber fan, and frankly, I think both drivers were at fault here.
Vettel should have let Robert Kubica through based on common sense; he had no chance. If he had, Kubica would have surged ahead and left Jenson Button in the dust.
Vettel messed up by trying to block Robert Kubica, who already had two-thirds of his car ahead of him.
Robert Kubica also could have played it smarter—maybe wait for a better opening or overtake him the way Jarno Trulli and Nico Rosberg did a few laps prior. He lunged from the outside. He should have just braked when Vettel flew past and took him on the inside.
It would have been much safer and simpler. I just don't get why everyone ignores Nick Heidfeld. He has KERS and all that gear, and the car is clearly superior, yet there's zero mention of him. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed.
Robert Kubica has every right to be furious. But it is what it is.

KERS is tricky; it shifts the entire weight balance and everything else.

Or, to put it bluntly, he just doesn't know how to drive.☕

Of course. Other drivers had the same setup and performed better. His performance was pathetic.

Look, Lewis Hamilton won the Australian GP, end of story.
The FIA is just going to do whatever they want again.🙂 🙄
It's pathetic. Honestly, at this rate, there's going to be zero point in even watching qualifying or the races. It’s actually sad. How does a car pass inspection as legal one minute, only to be declared illegal right after?
🙄

It's just embarrassing.☕

Give me a break, sure, Jarno Trulli overtook him under the Safety Car, but I doubt that changes anything... so don't start bringing up the FIA and all that now.

My bigger concern is Vettel; once you hand him a fast car, we'll see exactly how much chaos he wreaks on the team's dynamic. 🤣 🤣 😉

Jeffrey Howard4 said:Sebastian Vettel could have braked sooner—he has to realize he can't just keep Kujica three laps behind him. Claiming he couldn't dive onto the grass isn't an excuse, and honestly, Kujica should have waited for a better opening instead of forcing a move and leaving Vettel zero room...

My current standings:

1. Brawn GP (flawless performance, aside from losing a bit of time on the soft tires)
2. Toyota (can't find any real flaws; both compounds work well, they just messed up with that useless rear wing and got disqualified for no reason)
2. Red Bull (solid pace, slightly behind Brawn, but struggling big time on the soft compound)
3. BMW (no major issues, but they lack the raw speed to match Brawn or Red Bull right now)
4. Williams (struggling with the soft tire, so a top finish seems unlikely) / Ferrari (started high up because they ran light in qualifying, but they look significantly slower than they did during winter testing)
5. McLaren/Renault/STR/Force India

The gaps aren't clear because of all the Safety car periods, but I don't think I'm far off.

Literally everyone was struggling with the soft tires; BGP just got lucky with the Safety car😉 so we haven't actually seen how their degradation looks.😉

I mean, they don't really have a choice left. They'll probably just show up to the next race running on a super light fuel load and go straight to softs since they're better off for the launch...
