Michael Adams2 said:So, what's even your motivation for jumping into this thread? Honestly, if you’re that obsessed with me, maybe just deal with it quietly at your own house. You aren't posting anything useful over there, and frankly, you don't know the first thing about it.

It’s been said a bunch of times already that regular, decent Muslims—like the Canadians who actually want to have a discussion—don't bother anyone, (so yeah, your little setup, along with all those lies you've dropped on this Forum, doesn't mean squat) and isn't that the whole point of a Forum anyway? It's not meant for policing people's business or just wrecking threads.

Seriously, quit the stalking. And while we're on the subject, if we're talking about things going downhill, there’s nothing more pathetic to this Forum than the fact that you're even posting here.

Hey, if the mods are listening, could we just close this thread? I mean, everything has been said. If someone wanted to see it, they saw it; if they wanted to understand, they got it; and if they didn't, well, they won't, and they'll just keep showing up to these threads trying to vent their own frustrations... which have absolutely nothing to do with the topic...

I am well aware of how you write, and believe me, others have noticed it too.😁

The core issue here is that you seem to think you have the authority to decide who is allowed to speak and who isn't. If that's the case, the easiest route would be to just label everything—every single thing—as fake news, harassment, or some kind of deep-state conspiracy...

To be honest, I struggle to see the distinction between you and the very people you’re getting so worked up about. Perhaps your anger is justified this time, and it is quite possible they are indeed saying exactly what you claim, but damn it, you have your own "magnum opus" ☕as well, which makes this whole situation phenomenologically interesting.

You are essentially pointing the finger at others for doing the exact same things you do, or have done yourself. Well, life is funny like that....

Furthermore, you immediately jump to making generalizations about the entire group, and that is when it becomes crystal clear what is actually going on here.☕

The America sub-forum actually has a moderator who is doing an incredible job, and honestly, I thought things would settle down once we had someone like that on board, but it turns out the real issue still lies with the users themselves.
Every moderator operates by their own set of rules—some are better at it than others. Personally, I believe there should be a much higher level of tolerance in the America section, because at the end of the day, it’s all about freedom of speech.

I don't agree with Michael Adams2 on much regarding politics; if anything, I think he frequently stirs up unnecessary arguments, but in this specific instance, I feel like the moderators have gone a bit overboard with the bans.

This is just how I see things, objectively speaking.
Moderator Frank bans "snezana mk" without any valid reason or objective reasoning, simply because he felt like it. Is that how we operate now? Just pure whim?
Honestly, every single day some absolute bullshit comes my way. I try my best to actually read what’s being said, or at least keep my mouth shut.
So, some extremist decides to assault "snezana mk" verbally, essentially labeling her nothing more than a slut. Is this really where we are now?
I'll find you, certainly!
Tell me, if you're between 15 and 18, what kind of rate are we talking about?

Unprotected "snezana mk," she fits the bill.
A promise? Please. You’re kidding me, right? As if anyone actually believes that right now. Let’s be clear: I have zero interest in dealing with those people. Never. If you want to negotiate terms or figure out what they're looking for, go ahead and ask them yourselves. They can handle their own business.

Frank is throwing cards around just enough to act like he’s some kind of tough guy, all while trying to prove his masculinity. Now he’s calling out "Snezana MK" over that specific post she made:
And you didn't get hit with a 200-point penalty because of some malicious distortion of names. You got it because you compared Albanian women to prostitutes.

Obvious and incorrect.
And his post is this:
Forgive me, but I suppose I really must respond.
I may have been a bit too hasty with the moderation, and I didn't realize how much he actually offended you. That’s been corrected now. He's also been handed a 200-point penalty for his crude insults and sexist behavior.
It wasn't because you maliciously twisted someone's name that you lost those 200 points. It was because you compared Albanian women to prostitutes. Even I took it that way—so why shouldn't others?

I read that carefully, and let me be clear: Snezana never once called Albanian women prostitutes. It was actually that radical extremist who went straight for her, calling her a prostitute and asking what her rates were.

Hey Frank, look, buddy, why don't you just step down from that moderator position voluntarily? It's blindingly obvious you're siding with the trolls.
We all know that certain groups harbor a deep-seated hatred for anything Orthodox or Mexican—and honestly, they’ve got no love for American traditions either. This entire forum claims to be a melting pot of all nationalities, but let’s be real, it’s a complete disaster. Let me tell you something: this is coming to you from just your average, everyday American.
Apologize to her publicly for the injustice you committed by allowing others to label her with such filth and reduce her entire identity to it. Once that's done, hand the moderation duties over to people who actually possess the ability to read and comprehend what is written.

Go ahead, hand me a penalty for an insult just because I used the word "hillbilly." Is that how we're playing it now?

Aaron Lee97, look, Frank is a guy who actually puts in the work, so it’s perfectly normal for him to trip up once in a while
The real thing is that a person owns their mistakes and fixes them, which is exactly what happened here
On the other hand, I have no idea who hired you to be some kind of high-priced defense attorney, and frankly, I don't see why you need to adopt such a hostile tone over nothing
Snezana explained her situation quite clearly and politely in the banned users corner, yet she still got banned before eventually receiving an apology
So, do me a favor and just chill out, please

Not one single admin, regular user, or moderator here has actually proven that Michael Adams2 isn't onto something. 🤷

There was honestly no need to drag this discussion out over three whole pages; all anyone needed to do was answer the questions he laid out at the very start of the thread.

Frank, you claim you’re handing out sanctions just because people are complaining about terms like "Turks" or "converts," but listen—my buddy Frank usually has a good head on his shoulders, so maybe ask yourself this: how can the exact same person be celebrating the Turks and their supposed "Golden Age" in Canada on one thread, yet suddenly take offense at those very same labels on another? 😕

I think we all settled this a long time ago—the users here don't need a spokesperson, a lawyer, a guardian, or whatever else you want to call them...

Of course Johnny doesn't need one, and especially not Michael Adams2, but that still doesn't explain the weird phenomenon where someone can set an Ottoman flag as their profile picture and celebrate the Ottoman Empire, yet somehow get totally offended by terms like "Turks and Converts." ☕

Uffffffff....

What's with those American flags in the avatars? I mean, even Alija had one just like it. Honestly, I'm still struggling to see how that's supposed to build some grand theory about how Americans feel toward Turks... maybe I'm missing something, I guess.

Or does that actually have some deeper meaning? I don't know, maybe.

Intolerance and insults aren't welcome here, regardless of where they're coming from.

If someone thinks their life's purpose is to show up on this forum just to stir the pot and throw insults around, they might as well pack it up right now and find somewhere else to hang out.

Look, Justin Allen17, let's be real—if I put a Confederate flag in my avatar, you probably wouldn't even bat an eye if someone called me a rebel, right?

But fine, let's move past the avatars. What are we going to do about this constant euphoria that follows every single victory for the Ottomans and all this glorification of the Ottoman Empire? 🤷

Look, I think it was established ages ago that this is a FORUM, and the whole point of this circus is the free exchange of ideas! What you’re calling "legal representation" or "guardianship" or "spokesmanship"... all we see here is people stripping away the pretension of pure nonsense. They hide behind foreign flags, adopting weird nicknames and suffixes like xxx-pasha, complete with jihadist slogans in their signatures and some sort of Hamas-inspired hieroglyphic gibberish, all while pretending to seek justice with a hypocritical smirk... totally denying the obvious truth right in front of them (not that anyone bothers to point it out). People like William Gonzalez, that other guy, Justin Allen17, Tahvil Pasha.... all these loudmouths who try to prove their importance by measuring their uncircumcised junk in every single post just to assert some kind of "fatal presence" on this board... 🙄 they are absolutely lobotomizing this entire forum, which any decent reader will purposefully avoid, and once they walk away, they NEVER come back.

Why don't they just take their little shows over to those extremist fringe sites? Their posts, their language, their customs... none of it belongs in a discussion about the history of the former America anyway!!!
Who exactly appointed you as the editor??? 😵

And what about Alex? I don't recall you cheering him on, even though he had a little flag just like everyone else... ☕

What hype? I think it was mostly just spite... Honestly, the public didn't give a damn about celebrating every sports win by banging their heads against the wall... That crew from the quarry would have gone wild again if they actually had a reason... Instead, they just sort of crashed and burned, and everyone else saw right through them...

Man, I was rooting for Team USA, but I put up that little flag here once I saw the collective insanity gripping those guys I can't mention anymore because the mods get cranky... You guys are basically building a sociological phenomenon out of a joke about avatars...

Besides, when Canada played those guys in the qualifiers, we weren't exactly mourning after beating them on the court... Even that bigshot Prime Minister was supposed to show up, but he ended up lying about it...

Rules about nicknames. Look, give me some actual recommendations for what a username should be. It doesn't say anywhere that we can't use whatever random stuff you guys on this forum feel like using. As for those comments about the Politics section in the PDF—honestly, you're all kind of overestimating yourselves while underestimating each other at the same time. You clearly know the rules well enough. And look, I’m really not going to get into a debate about who's being sneaky or dishonest, at least not here. If someone has something to say, they should just say it themselves, without everyone else jumping in to stir the pot or throw gasoline on the fire.

@hollowtrucker77
Can you explain this to me? The rules regarding nicknames clearly state this:
Start your nickname with a capital letter.
As I have already mentioned, your forum handle replaces your actual first and last name, so it is standard practice to capitalize the first letter.
Additionally, please refrain from using all caps—writing in all caps on the internet is considered shouting and is simply impolite.

How is it that Justin Allen17 still uses a handle like that when it's so blatantly rude?
Doesn't this fuel the exact kind of debate we see here? Why is it that some people are allowed to do whatever they want, while others find themselves scrutinized over the tiniest detail the moment they try to speak up against an injustice?
Moderators, for heaven's sake, pick a lane.
Either the rules apply to everyone equally, or there are no rules at all.
And don't you dare suggest I'm playing lawyer for anyone; you know perfectly well I'm not.
The plain truth is that people visit this forum, attempt to contribute, and then get kicked out so quickly they never bother coming back—except, of course, for the obvious provocateurs.

If you ask me, the way someone formats their username is pretty much irrelevant at best,
it’s far more interesting to look at who the person actually is behind the screen and how they carry themselves in these discussions.
I am in total agreement that those who show up just to stir the pot should be dealt with via an expedited process, and that goes for the people acting as mouthpieces for specific agendas or missionaries too.
So, from where I’m standing, we should tackle the heavy hitters first, and once the main issues are handled, then we can worry about drifting down into the trivialities.
For instance, one of the things that bothers me least is the inevitable whining from these types about unfairness or moderator overreach—honestly, they could have picked up basic communication skills back home or even in grade school.

I agree with you; there are certainly more pressing issues than the current nickname.
The influence of home and school environments warrants a much deeper debate.
Provocateurs should be dealt with immediately; not everyone has the stomach to just hit the ignore button. Some people simply take too much liberty.
The moderators aren't above making mistakes either. At the end of the day, they are forum members too, yet they occasionally allow themselves to be insulting while handing out cards to others for the same behavior.
You’ve likely noticed my activity on the forum has been sparse lately.
But why?
I simply have no desire to argue with trolls, so I rely on private messages as my standard response to any inquiry.
Even now, this forum remains filled with illegal content and actions that violate United States laws.
In my view, the priority should be the grueling task of scrubbing those posts away.
There are also users who haven't posted in years, existing merely to pad the forum's statistics.

Do what you believe is best, but ensure you aren't doing it at the expense of certain groups over others.
We all bleed the same color under our skin. Yet, much like the rest of the world, religious and national intolerance is spreading here—it's clearly visible in the subtext of countless posts.
There must be room for banter and jokes, but no one should ever be attacked based on their religion or any other identity for simply holding a different opinion. If we can't express our views and stances, then I fail to see the purpose of this forum, or indeed, online communication in general.

Man, you’re probably the last person on Earth who should be lecturing anyone on how to communicate. I mean, we all saw how you were acting the other day.

Like, first you claim you don't care about reacting to insults, but then you try to act all high and mighty, and then—get this—you actually told some lady on the forum that you understood why she'd go after someone's mother and said you weren't gonna call her out for it.

You are just walking hypocrisy, man. Seriously.

And if you think you're making sense, it's pretty obvious you're totally lost in the clouds. Neither you nor Ronald Allen seem to have a clue what's going on.

Look, if someone picks a username that makes them sound like a dog and they've got a signature basically celebrating the Ottoman Empire through the ages—like they took their whole identity, culture, religion, customs, and laws from the Turks—then yeah, they're a Convert, period. That isn't an insult, it's just a fact. If you guys are too politically correct or just plain dim-witted to see that, well, that's your problem, not mine...

Man, you didn't even say anything in your last post! Honestly, I was just saying we should probably lock this whole thing down. Like, if someone gets it, they get it, right? And if they don't... well, they probably never will. Maybe we should just call it a day!

You seriously think I need some lecture on "communication etiquette" or whatever? Like, give me a break! I know how to be civil when I talk, trust me, you don't need to teach me the ropes on that. Honestly, this whole thing just seems like everyone here is either totally clueless about the basics or just blindly following orders from the higher-ups. It’s like, hey, the cyclists are down there doing all the heavy lifting while the guys at the top are just bending over backward to play nice! I guess that's just how it goes, maybe.

Look, just because you guys don't know certain things doesn't mean that should be enough of an excuse to go around harassing the people who actually *do* know. I mean, seriously! It’s like, maybe try learning instead? Just a thought!

Hey, why haven't you banned that girl yet? You know, the one who was totally trash-talking another user's mother? Seriously! You told me before that it doesn't matter if someone gets provoked—that any insult, even if it's just a reaction, should get flagged. But now, suddenly, you're flipping the script on me? I guess you've developed some weird sympathy for people's reactions all of a sudden. What gives?

And if you could just give me the bottom line on this? Like, skip all that garbage about "communication etiquette" written by people who clearly didn't finish middle school or even pick up a book. I guess I just want the facts without the lecture from the uneducated crowd!
