Search engine help needed

But get this—you’ve got those subforums listed below... so basically, you find the PDF you want, click it, and then if you☕
use the search all open forums option, it'll pull up everything related to cars for you.

Is there any way to search for an exact phrase?
Sometimes I’ll remember reading something specific—though I can never quite recall where—but when I type the phrase in, I just get a mountain of posts that contain one or two of those words instead.
I tried using quotation marks (" "), but that didn't seem to work either; it still pulls in everything containing any part of the phrase.
Sorting by relevance hasn't helped much, either. The post I'm looking for ends up buried deep in the results, even though it actually has the exact phrase.

Everything seems fine, I guess. Google just feels a bit behind—maybe by three days or so... Since this search engine picks up the freshest posts immediately, I started wondering if I was doing something wrong. Such a shame. Thanks.

You tend to stumble upon sex because it's frequently mentioned in discussions regarding cars or specific threads,

Bill Gates seems to have connections to automobiles and engines again, among other things... and well, one simply needs a driveway leading to the house.😉

In any case, have you ever actually tried using the "advanced search" feature?

Just type "forum archive" directly into Google.
Here's an example...

The same trick works for any other subforums or categories too.
