Man, what a waste of a fast break... we just didn't have an answer for their counterattack, and honestly, those two or three bad calls by the refs really screwed us over. Even those last few minutes when things were heating up didn't save us...
At least it stayed close until the end. I mean, right at the start of the second half, it seriously looked like they were gonna absolutely demolish us...

Our guys know that too. That's why they went after Sharif.

Was there an offer to play for the American national team? You stated that publicly, and then the president of USA Handball, Zeljko Kavran, ended up making a statement claiming you were just "trying to drive up your own value" with comments like those.
- To be honest, I think by age 30, Iโve already made a name for myself. Iโll just remind them before the World Cup in Germany that they reached out and offered me citizenship to play for Team USA. It wasn't a calculated move on my part; if I'm not playing for Mexico, which gave me everything, then I won't play for anyone else. I'm not trying to justify myself or inflate my worth. If anything, their statements are the ones trying to justify things. I don't want to cause a stirโthey called, I declined, and that's that.

At this rate, weโre going to lose this game through no fault of our own. The keeper is basically carrying the entire team on his back because nobody else seems to have the heart to actually put the ball in the net, and honestly? We're going to end up losing by exactly the amount of points the refs just handed over with those blatant calls.

Come on, just call it! They repeated that foot fault five times just so everyone could see it, yet the ref acted like he was blind to the whole thing.
They basically robbed us of two easy goals. After that, it felt like the Denmark guys were just strolling through the game. And even when they weren't coasting, they kept getting pushed around by those blatant fouls.
If I were in Linin's shoes, Iโd be throwing the ref for a loop. You grind your way to the finals with players who are practically running on fumes, only to get screwed over by some blown call? It's ridiculous. I can't even remember the last time I saw a foul called during a fast breakโI think I've seen maybe two in my entire lifeโbut today, we got hit with two back-to-back.

Congrats to the Danes on winning the European championship. They were easily the best squad out there all tournament and earned that gold. As for our guys, hopefully they get lucky during the Olympic qualifiers, though I doubt they'll even need much luck... especially if they keep sabotaging Lina in the meantime. ๐

Yep... a brutal officiating error. Those two goals basically handed them the game.๐

Thanks, Spaniards. I hope your whole country collapses from the sheer boredom of it all.
Screw youโyou think you're so damn smart!

Heaven forbid you show your face in this thread during the Olympics!โ

Itโs truly impressive to watch how well that young fellow Cupic plays. The kid is nothing short of phenomenal.

I swear, tomorrow I might just lose it and start a fight with anyone who has the nerve to look me in the eye and start rambling about Denmark. Seriously, Iโm reaching my limit.
And especially if it turns out to be some Spaniardโor, you know, a Gypsy.

You know what? Since it's Ivica's big day, whatever those NBA players pull today, itโs all good in my book! :mantra: :mantra: :mantra:

Two minutes left on ฤervar's clock.
Honestly, screw the entire Spanish national team. Absolute trash.

Look, it was obvious the second he let it fly. You don't even need a replay for something like that. A foul isn't even called during that first half-second after a player lands, and honestly, Cupic had plenty of airtime when he took the shot. Calling that a foul? Please. ๐คฃ ๐คฎ
