Iโ€™m done watching. I honestly canโ€™t decide whatโ€™s more nauseating: sitting through our teamโ€™s absolute garbage performance or having to listen to that total idiot calling the game. ๐Ÿ˜  ๐Ÿ˜  ๐Ÿ˜

Once the final buzzer sounds, you just pack your gear and head for the exit.

Totally agree.

The whole thing is an absolute embarrassment for this tournament.

Dลพomba and ฤŒupiฤ‡, who's actually looking out for Vukiฤ‡? A triple threat?

We weren't even playing for gold, so I don't know if someone got a different impression ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿคท

Actuallyโ€”if you ask meโ€”it was meant for us, and frankly, itโ€™s almost too much to handle! ๐Ÿ™„

Up until now, I had a bit of a grudge against the Catalan folksโ€”just a little thing, reallyโ€”but now? Well, let's just say my feelings toward Spaniards have shifted quite a bit... except, of course, for two absolutely wonderful people out there.

Man, itโ€™s just impossible. They get two calls in our favor from the refs, then Casper steps up with a massive save on the third, and by the fourth, we basically hand them the ball on a silver platter with a stupid mistake. You can't compete against luck like that.

stormyraven68 said:Unfortunately, the NBA is turning into such a massive money-makerโ€”and honestly, thatโ€™s the real reason we didn't take home the gold today. I saw it coming from the jump when the ref suggested the player wasn't faking it... every single controversial play we protested, he called in their favor. He was surgical about it, too. I mean, you can't call every single garbage play like that, especially when the game is decided by a mere two or three points. If anyone thinks this was fair, they clearly don't know a thing about basketball. Then there was that foul by ฤŒupiฤ‡, followed by that two-minute suspensionโ€”you just don't pull that in a championship game, especially at the end. You try to de-escalate first, maybe give a warning, but instead, he just flashes the two fingers and hands out the red card? Who wouldn't lose it when it's a two-point game, then a ball hits both the hand and the thigh, and instead of getting us a fast break, we get a red card and a technical? To top it off, the official is swearing in American, while that biased hack keeps chiming in using Tamil alongside it... it's a total robbery, yet people still debate whether it was rigged or not. And when it's a clear penalty on a push right at the end, nothing happens. Or that two-minute penalty on the shooter who wasn't even close to the guy who went downโ€”meaning the ref didn't see a damn thing, but since he's Danish, he decides to bench our guy right when the score shifts at the end of the half. Just a perfectly executed heist in gloves. Regardless, hats off to our guys. If they had pulled this off, it would have been a genuine miracle. If those few shots were in when we were down by two, we'd be celebrating right now, despite the idiots ruining this beautiful sport.

Despite all that, the Americans deserve the gold

Props to the guys for fighting like lions, but they basically beat themselves. Such a shame.

Man, Iโ€™d do the exact opposite. Iโ€™d be out there waving the biggest flag weโ€™ve got, riding the victory parade train, just showing everyone we're athletes. Real pros through and through! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

The captain ๐Ÿ™is really giving it his all ๐Ÿ™for the sake of ๐Ÿ™the whole ๐Ÿ™country!

Heโ€™s got big things waiting for him in just two days when he heads back to join ๐Ÿ™Real Madridโ€”honestly, this kind of performance? It's pure patriotism. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Kaleb was saying we should probably give Denmark a massive shoutout for the win. I mean, they weren't the ones messing up the officiating, and honestly? They played out of their minds the whole tournament.

Major respect to our guys too๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™hats off to the team and even for HVIDTA๐Ÿ™โ€”that penalty being called right then? seriously, huge props there.

Huge props to the guys and Denmark! Look, they were just a step ahead this timeโ€”they earned that top spot. And yeah, letโ€™s be real, the refs definitely screwed us over a bit... but still, taking 2nd place is a massive win. ๐Ÿ‘‹ ๐Ÿ‘‹

Jeremy Phillips54 said:Are you kidding me right now? They totally screwed me over. If they saw the foul, why on earth did they wait until after the goal was already scored to blow the whistle? Seriously, what kind of logic is that?

The ref actually blew the whistle, it just might have seemed like he didn't because things were moving so fast.

Iโ€™m honestly just relieved there wonโ€™t be any big welcoming ceremony this time. No more dealing with Barun and his "tough luck" attitude, or listening to Fodora crack those mindless jokes. I'm also glad we won't have to endure those distorted anthems performed by some random amateur from the local community theater, or all that nonsense like "Hell on Earth" and other ridiculous songs being blasted across Times Square.
