The impalement scene in the movie Banović Strahinja😲

The scene where Jesus is being scourged with those whips—you know, the ones with metal spikes at the ends? One spike gets snagged deep in his flesh, and then they yank it back so suddenly it just tears away chunks of skin and muscle... honestly, it’s absolutely brutal.

hm, Zafranovic’s "Occupation in 26 Frames" actually hits pretty hard; that bus torture scene is especially brutal... they're driving nails into heads, slicing up tongues and chests, and there are sledgehammers involved too...

Passion. And honestly, I’m so grateful my parents wouldn't let me sit through movies like "Occupation in a blank image," because even today, I still couldn't stomach watching something like that.

-that scene where they tie him to a tree with a rope, grease him up, strap him to a horse, and just walk off (after decapitating him, they slice his cheeks off to make some kind of mushroom specialty)
-while the guy sits at the table slicing up brains and frying them in butter, the victim slowly loses motor skills and basic functions, then he feeds him the stuff😂

-but those scenes are just for fun, nothing too extreme (ROB ZOMBIE RULES 🙏 🙏)

That scene where Monica Bellucci gets assaulted made me lose all respect for men...😢 It's just too brutal.
And that part where Vincent Cassel goes absolutely feral and crushes someone's head with a fire extinguisher is pretty raw, too...

Guinea Pig—it’s this Japanese series spread across four or five parts... honestly, people call them snuff films, but they basically *are* the real thing. You have these women tied up, and then it just goes from there: torture, sexual assault, and so on, all the way until death. It is absolutely deranged. 🙂
The first installment was filmed back in the 80s, and for a few years, everyone genuinely believed it was an actual snuff film. I even read somewhere that Charlie Sheen watched it, passed out cold, and then rushed straight to the FBI to report that he had witnessed a real snuff film. 😂

Yeah, that’s the one I was thinking of. After that scene with Cassel and the fire extinguisher, I just didn't have the stomach for movies—or anything else, really—for quite a while. It was just too much. I don't think I've ever seen a scene more revolting or realistic. Though, I suppose there is a very similar moment in Panov's labyrinth. Unfortunately.

I would also point to that specific scene in "Deer Hunter" where De Niro, John Savage, and Walken are captured by enemy soldiers in Vietnam; they force their prisoners to play Russian roulette against one another, while the bodies of those who die are tossed into a river full of crocodiles...

I actually stumbled into a theater by mistake when I was nine; I thought I was going to see some Disney fantasy flick because I was home sick while the rest of my class went on a field trip.🤣 It was a Sunday morning, around 10 AM. Just imagine the sheer letdown when Matt, Lily, and the whole gang didn't show up...🙄

The most gut-wrenching thing I can still picture is from Oldboy 🙏
