Finally caught the original classic😍 and I'm hitting the remake tomorrow... honestly can't wait.

I was trying to watch the movie earlier, but I ended up borrowing a faulty DVD and missed the whole ending... would anyone be kind enough to fill me in? I managed to follow along until the guy with glasses—Dylan, if I remember correctly—walked into that house where he had his fingers sliced... and then someone takes out that monster with the flag, but I didn't actually see who did it or what happened after that... what a total waste of a disc!

Honestly, I thought the movie was absolute garbage—just incredibly mindless—but I guess I was curious enough to see it through to the end anyway.
The most ridiculous part for me was when that old guy at the Shell station told them not to bother using the phone right at the start. Then, after their tires blew out, the dad decides it’s a brilliant idea to hike all the way to the gas station just to use their landline, only to get there and mutter, "It doesn't work, fuck," right as he arrives. Aaaaaaa!

I actually really loved this movie, honestly—it totally hit the mark for me.

The movie isn't half bad... haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but I'm betting the original was better

This movie couldn't possibly be any more of a dumpster fire than it already is. I actually listened to some decent reviews and decided to give it a shot, hoping it might at least help me decompress—not that I’ll ever find a horror flick that genuinely terrifies me—but instead, I got a bunch of mutants chasing people around for ninety minutes. Aside from a few heavy-handed messages thrown in here and there, the entire plot is basically just a race to see who can kill whom first. I was honestly ready to turn it off during that scene involving the assault on a woman; I truly don't understand why that was even necessary for this story.

Like my friend puts it—this is a movie strictly for the clinically insane or anyone feeling that way. (I'm not trying to offend anyone, but that was our collective takeaway.)

You can interpret this film as a political allegory—it isn't particularly subtle, especially considering that scene involving the American flag—rather than viewing it purely as mindless gore. Personally, I found the viewing experience quite enjoyable. Does that make me mentally ill?

Honestly, I didn't exactly enjoy watching it; it’s pretty unsettling. It really gets under your skin.
Which is actually a good thing.
In the last five years, *The Hills Have Eyes* and *Descent* are really the only horror films that have actually landed for me.

And as for that ending people keep complaining about...
It's just a classic homage to the genre.

You really need to watch the director's commentary along with Wes to get it.

Look, I'm hardly an expert qualified to judge your mental state 😍 Just kidding. I get that the film is trying to make a point, but even with that message, it was still a disaster to me. Plenty of movies try to deliver a message; some actually pull it off, while others fail miserably. Personally, I didn't take anything away from this one. It just wasn't engaging, and there were several moments where I had to fight the urge to just nod off.🙂

I didn't exactly enjoy watching Necromancy, and I highly doubt you will either. You might get a laugh out of a few scenes, but that's about it.

To all of you claiming this movie is just mindless garbage or whatever else you're calling it... honestly, you're nothing but cowards. You're clearly just too terrified of a little blood and gore to handle it. Anyone who actually considers themselves a true horror enthusiast knows that this film is an absolute masterpiece of the genre.

Look, I think the movie is good, but everyone’s entitled to their own take. If they think it sucks, then fine—it sucks to them, and they have every right to say so. It would be pretty damn boring if we all had identical tastes. And seriously, don't start insulting people just because they didn't enjoy it.

Good grief... my head is absolutely pounding, but whatever... I really don't have the energy to get into an argument right now.
