I was just saying the first one was a decent little flick to zone out to, something fresh and fun to kill some time.
The sequel, though? Total letdown. It didn't meet my expectations at all, and honestly, it barely even feels like a follow-up to the first one, which actually nailed that whole "new wave comedy meets pirate flick" vibe.

I really loved this movie! 🙂 It was such a blast, genuinely hilarious, and the special effects were incredible... just two and a half hours of pure entertainment! 🎉

Such an incredible movie!!! 👍 I thought the ending was particularly clever because it feels like it just keeps going... plus, Captain Jones works so well as a major antagonist. That one shot where he’s playing the organ is just stunning!!! 🙏 🙏

It actually reminds me quite a bit of those classic horror and monster flicks from the 1930s... 😎

You guys can argue all you want, but personally, I'm just counting down the days until I finally get to see this movie.😉

Just finished watching it.
The first one was solid, but honestly, the second part blew it out of the water. 👍
If anyone thought it was dragging or way too long, they probably just spent the whole movie looking for a restroom and couldn't wait to finally get out.😉

Watched it yesterday... honestly, it was decent enough entertainment for me. Depp still nails the role of Captain Jack Sparrow 😍

There were definitely some laughs, though I guess that just depends on your mood when you sit down and what you're actually expecting from it... personally, it worked for me 😁

*I remember watching the sequel to Men in Black... everyone else looked completely baffled by my reaction, but I was in such a mood that I couldn't stop laughing; I was practically in tears and my stomach actually hurt... objectively speaking, the movie isn't even *that* funny 😬

I mean, honestly, what else were people actually expecting from a movie in this genre? It’s clearly designed to rake in as much cash as possible—which, let's be real, it did, since it actually outearned Lord of the Rings at the box office. You look at it as this sort of "family adventure comedy"... I’m sure you all noticed there isn't a single drop of blood to be found... But hey, the movie is solid, and if nothing else, Johnny gave a killer performance... they just REALLY went overboard with that whole undead pirate ambush thing...
and just to add to a previous point about Monkey Island... Johnny is a TOTAL Guybrush Threepwood...😛

Fun movie. It’s nothing to write home about, really, but I had a good time watching it.
BTW, the whole time I was watching, I kept hearing that theme from Monkey Island
