Man, what a movie. I love it.

The movie was actually pretty solid, and honestly, it makes sense that they trimmed a lot of the fat to focus on the core plot. The special effects were top-notch, though I found myself laughing through most of it rather than feeling the dark atmosphere—the dialogue is just ridiculously funny. 😂 Our whole group was basically cracking up in the theater the entire time. 😂

The lightsaber duel was way too short 😁 Based on what I saw in the trailer, I thought he’d grab his staff and charge in with a lightsaber to actually get into a fight, but instead... 😢

Such a killer movie—honestly, Harry Potter is the best, even if he can be a bit dosadan sometimes. It’s got that perfect, eerie, dark foreshadowing vibe going on 😁 plus the soundtrack is actually solid 🙂

I absolutely love Harry Potter, though I suppose "devoured" would be a more accurate way to describe how I flew through all the books—except for this last one—and watched every single movie. I actually just got back from the theater after seeing this latest installment, and honestly... what can I even say? For me, it was just plain 😢 dosadan. There weren't any of those lightning-fast, hilarious lines of dialogue I was hoping for after reading some of these posts; it was mostly just a few funny facial expressions and then nothing. The soundtrack is decent, I guess; that’s the one thing that really caught my attention, but the overall vibe is 👎 boring. The book is way better. I'll admit, though, trying to squeeze a massive novel like that into a single movie was probably a pretty impossible task, which I suppose explains a lot.

Oh, and now I actually have to read the book too.

God help me.

This is easily my favorite installment, though the movie doesn't come anywhere close to the book... I really miss those little details that make Hogwarts so special—the feasts, the classrooms, all that atmosphere. It just lacks that specific warmth.

The color palette feels off in the film, too—almost like they used some strange filters? I don't know, it just didn't sit right with me.

Books win by a landslide for me, obviously—especially since the movies skip so much of the good stuff—but honestly, the films are solid too. Look, people either love HP or they don't, so of course everyone’s got an opinion... but if you hate it just because you haven't actually sat down to read the books or watch the movies, then you've got nothing to say here. Just stop posting nonsense if you haven't even bothered to check them out! 👋

I found the movie pretty fun. It was charming and easy to watch, and I loved the vibe. Since I already knew the story from the book, I wasn't surprised by much. My only gripe is that they skipped over some of the magical details—that’s honestly my favorite part of the books.

Plus, because of the World Cup and Ron's whole subplot, the fourth book is probably my absolute favorite. They didn't really capture that on screen, though I get that they were probably running out of time to squeeze everything in.
