Look, nothing justifies a reaction like that—period. I honestly think it was just a massive nervous breakdown rather than him being an arrogant jerk. He told the patient she needed to call him "Doctor" instead of "Mister," so you could argue he was just offended by how she spoke to him (I mean, calling a doctor "Mister" isn't exactly class act, even if the lady was clearly just messing around). But, don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly out here defending Petar Jukić... he acted totally primitive and it was just unacceptable.

Now, I don't mean I'd ever get physical—I go out of my way to avoid that kind of thing whenever possible—but...
there are certain ways you can make it incredibly clear to someone exactly where they stand in the social hierarchy.
I’ve even mastered that specific facial expression that carries just enough weight to remind them of a funeral procession or some deep-seated trauma, especially when paired with the right tone of voice.

If they don't, they might just find themselves getting a much-needed lesson in manners from someone who actually knows how to behave properly.

Look, the guy is an absolute jerk, no question about it, but his behavior—and honestly, all your comments here—has actually left me reflecting on things a little bit... It’s just a reality that when we deal with people who are supposedly highly educated, whether they're specialists, professors, or high-level executives, we naturally expect a certain level of decorum, which makes it even harder to stomach when they act like complete idiots. I've had bosses in the past who were total Neanderthals 😁 , despite holding PhDs. On the flip side, I think that when you're dealing with illness and endless medical research, everyone becomes incredibly vulnerable, so we look to doctors to provide at least a baseline of calm, empathy, and basic human decency. And goodness knows, they aren't all saints; it's not like God reached down and personally handpicked them to be decent, cultured human beings just because they became physicians, but rather they chose this path for their own specific reasons. It is truly a tragedy that having an advanced degree or moving in certain social circles hasn't taught them fundamental politeness and class, but hey, life happens

Good God, you get all kinds of people in those positions—it’s not like God personally tapped them on the shoulder and whispered that they were decent, cultured, or polite enough to deserve a medical degree... they just chose that path for their own reasons, for better or worse.
