but mostly it's men!
ha ha..🤣
doesn't matter—health is the most important thing in the world, and there isn't any shame or fear worth holding onto when it comes to your well-being..
just get in there and get it over with..
maybe have a drink to calm your nerves first if you can't find the guts..
you just have to go!

I'm really hoping there's at least one female doctor on staff, honestly, because I'm absolutely mortified ☕

It's a tough field—a proctologist is basically a surgeon, and let's be honest, we both know how rare female surgeons can be...

Look, lady, please try drinking some warm Perrier every single morning—and I mean a good amount—for at least two weeks. And don't be so skeptical about the pills; they're just herbal supplements. They don't have an expiration date like meds do. I actually went out of my way to grill a pharmacist about this, which is why people take them long-term. Tons of people swear by them just to get their circulation moving better.
They’re pricey, I know, but trust me, they are worth every penny.
I'm not trying to sell you anything here, but I was seeing a proctologist to discuss surgery, and he was the one who recommended this stuff. Since I started, the pain has COMPLETELY vanished!!!

Cheers!

Look, I’ve already said this a few times above...
I took Daflon—started with 3x2 for the first five days, then moved to 2x2. After finishing three boxes, the whole issue just vanished...
A little bit of hemorrhoid cream, some Faktu whenever needed, and that was basically it.
Then, I started eating mussels for breakfast and having a large coffee—which sends me straight to the bathroom—just so I can be good for the rest of the day. Honestly, I can't believe everything has stayed fine since then.
And that was two years ago.

whenever things got dicey, and that was that..

In the mornings, I started eating muscle meat for breakfast and chugging a massive coffee, then hitting the restroom right after. Keeps me steady all day long. Honestly, can't believe everything's still fine even now..
How much does that stuff cost? Can you grab it without a prescription?😉

A box of Daflon runs you about $35, and since I go through two boxes a month—I usually take two pills at a time—that’s $67 every single month. After doing this for 3 or 4 months, for maybe 600-$267, you basically feel like a brand-new person!
Honestly, after every bathroom trip, I just wash up with lukewarm water and slather on some olive oil. It works way better for me than any of those overpriced creams out there. I even put a little oil right on my backside, wrap it up, and leave it for a few hours. No big deal, it works.

Honestly, it’s not that big of a deal, unless you’re one of those shy types—then it becomes a whole thing. I just tell my doctor not to skimp on the lubricant, and once he takes care of things, everything works out fine. 👍

Changing your lifestyle helps too... basically move more, sit less, and watch what you eat... if you stick to greens rather than meat and drink massive amounts of water, you can actually turn things around. ☕

As for those Daflon tablets my doctor prescribed... I was planning on taking them, but then the hemorrhoids suddenly cleared up on their own. Maybe they were just scared of the name...🙂

If you're dealing with an acute hemorrhoid flare-up, you typically take Daflon for about 10 days at high doses—basically, what I mentioned earlier: starting with 3x2 for the first 4 or 5 days, then tapering down to 2x2...

Look, the fix for this is actually pretty straightforward if you’re dealing with the milder stuff. EAT AS MUCH SALAD, fruit, and different kinds of grains (think cornflakes or oatmeal) as you can handle. They swell up, which adds bulk to your stool, and at the same time, they soften things right up. If you're over at a friend's place for a backyard BBQ, go ahead and enjoy the grill, but load up on a massive pile of salad, fruit, or corn on the cob alongside it. Don't just demolish 12 slices of pork loin with thick bread; eat two pieces paired with plenty of salad, tomatoes, and whatever else you can find. At the end of the day, it’s all about balance.

That won't help at all. In fact, the heat just makes things worse because it dilates the blood vessels.
So, here’s the deal: rinse the anus with COLD water.😉

Benjamin Gray33 mentioned earlier that you shouldn't sit on cold surfaces when dealing with hemorrhoids, yet here you are suggesting rinsing with cold water? Honestly, I've heard that same advice before too. If you're going to do it, use the coldest water possible—ideally ice-cold.
But then again, that doesn't seem right for anything else. That’s probably it, though. You just need the cold.

Look, sitting on ice or using cold water to rinse isn't even the same thing. You just splash some cold water on yourself, right? But actually sitting there? That's bad news. It's not healthy because you're gonna end up wrecking your kidneys too.

🙂

I've dealt with hemorrhoids my entire life, but I have no idea how they suddenly flared up this badly on their own.

Ever since I gave birth (2.5 months ago), they just won't go away. I went through two full boxes of Daflon, but then the bleeding started right back up again. And don't even get me started on the pain. Even after those two boxes, I don't feel any better at all.🙂
The absolute worst part is that I've always struggled with hard stools. Honestly, it’s miserable having to use the bathroom because I know exactly what kind of torture is waiting for me.😢 I would genuinely rather go through labor all over again than deal with this constant struggle. Luckily, I don't have to deal with it every single day, but when I do, I end up sweating like I just ran a full marathon... it's a total disaster.

I'm at a complete loss as to what to do next.🤷

Try drinking more milk and sticking to lighter meals, you know? People always say Perrier works wonders, though I don't have any on me right now. Honestly, if I overdo it with the food, it’s like my eyes start leaking right there on the toilet.

So, I noticed this little bump near my anus—it’s not hard, just kind of skin-colored—and it's giving me a bit of a stinging sensation. I first spotted it about two days ago, but honestly, I haven't even hit the restroom yet, so I have zero clue what my stool situation looks like... Does anyone happen to know what this might be or how I should deal with it???

You absolutely have to soften things up first—that’s priority number one—otherwise you're just going to end up tearing everything you've worked so hard to fix..
That thing needs to just slide right out of you—honestly, with all that straining..

The formula is definitely pretty solid, kind of like drinking Perrier—John is spot on about that. Honestly, you really should have stuck with the Daflon too, because what’s the point of trying to strengthen your vein walls if your stool is hard as a rock? You'll just end up right back where you started. I went through this exact same cycle myself.
