placidtinker9 said:I bought the cream. It helps, but only for about 3 or 4 hours before the itching comes right back.

That cream burns so much—like, for about 15 minutes after you put it on—it feels like that area is just on fire... I don't know if that's actually normal?
Thanks

Just be careful with Hadens—I've heard there's a reason why you can't even find it here in the States. Honestly, it’s one of the weaker creams out there (I ended up tossing mine), so maybe try looking for something better. If you can get it delivered, Proctolyn worked best for me, but there are plenty of other solid options. A decent cream really should take the edge off the pain pretty quickly, since they usually have an anesthetic in them!

I had my hemorrhoids treated via the Muligan method just 15 days ago! After only six days, I was already sitting comfortably at my computer. They used local anesthesia and gave me Voltaren injections as needed following the procedure. I had the surgery done at a hospital in San Francisco and didn't have to pay a single cent. Today, I feel like a brand-new man!

I’m heading to bed, it’s getting way too late. I am honestly so done with these hemorrhoids. They’re giving me a massive headache (HAHAHAAA!!!!). Man, I’m in such a good mood right now. But tomorrow? It’s back to square one. I definitely won't be laughing in the morning.
Goodnight

Ugh,
Thank God 🙂 and thanks to everyone for making this place exist. Having a spot where we can actually hear from people dealing with the exact same crap makes such a huge difference. It keeps you from feeling totally alone. And hopefully, through everyone's experiences, we can all find the best solution for ourselves. Honestly, I feel so much better now.
I don't feel like some total freak because of what I'm going through.
Life has taught me that almost every illness we deal with is basically our body—in its own weird way—trying to flag our own mistakes to us.
Unfortunately, it's all that subconscious stuff; things our deeper self knows but our conscious mind just doesn't catch.
My whole ordeal started with childbirth, which was incredibly brutal because I’ve always been super active with sports. Everyone knows that women who are athletes for years tend to have really tight muscle tissue and ligaments, which makes "opening up" during delivery a nightmare. All that intense straining left me with the aftermath—hemorrhoids.
Since I’ve never had digestive issues, zero itching like people talk about on this forum, and no food sensitivities, my "only" problem was just this one external hemorrhoid that stayed quiet for a long time. Basically, it was just a visual thing for me.
This went on for years. Then, the first major flare-up happened—and I was trying to handle the swelling with nothing but St. John's Wort oil—and it was a total shock. I couldn't believe someone could actually experience something so uncomfortable and painful.
Luckily, back then, some holistic practitioners from Switzerland were visiting my city. I have to mention, this was like 17 or 18 years ago 🙂 so I had absolutely no clue what kind of alternative medicine they even practiced.
After seeing them for an exam, they gave me this tiny little pill to put under my tongue based on their "diagnosis": ...that I was essentially unhappy with my current life situation and was subconsciously punishing myself for it. I have to admit, I was fully aware of how heavy my life felt at the time and how much I just wanted everything to be over 🙂 but punishing myself like that... hahaha... that just didn't fly with me. 🙂 ...Like, would I really be crazy enough to subconsciously sabotage myself 🙂 and cause myself all this pain and misery?
They tried explaining that it was a physical reaction—a subconscious response to my conscious thoughts... a way the body reacts to how we think.
Anyway, after taking that little pill—and that theory really got me thinking—everything just vanished into thin air... except for that "little traitor" that stayed right where it was.
Seventeen years have passed since then—both on the calendar and in my life—and I’ve had minimal trouble with hemorrhoids, usually only when I'm being super physically active (I work in interior design, so I'm climbing ladders and doing heavy lifting quite often). And again, I want to emphasize that up until recently, I handled everything with just St. John's Wort oil.
Until this year.
Three weeks ago, they flared up big time, right when I was prepping for a huge project that lasted three days. I tried the oil again, but it did absolutely nothing. Every single hour, I was feeling worse and worse, both physically and mentally... wondering how on earth I was going to power through this job while feeling this miserable.
That's when I saw this flashy commercial on TV about a brand-new hemorrhoid product and how effective it supposedly was. I rushed to the pharmacy and bought it $43. Personally, I don't think anything is too expensive if it stops this thing from getting worse. I figured if it was new, it had to be the best. It's called HemoClin. I used it for 15 days, and the situation just kept spiraling. The pain got worse, and I was terrified I wouldn't make it through the job. I stubbornly kept using that gel day after day, praying it would eventually kick in. Sadly, I just wasted days of my life before I finally found out about and bought Faktu cream, and wow, what a difference. HemoClin is just a watery gel... in my experience, compared to the creamy Faktu, it's way less effective.
Honestly, I’m just using one cream every three days because it’s the only thing giving me any relief. God knows if that’s actually healthy or what, but hey,
I’m just chilling at home today since work was a total madhouse, and honestly, I feel way better. These last three weeks of absolute hell have taught me so much about hemorrhoids, and I’ve been chatting up tons of people to swap stories. I even heard that folks out in the Appalachian Mountains swear by this dandelion salve for these kinds of issues, and they say it works wonders.
I can't really vouch for it though, since I haven't tried it myself yet.
In the meantime, I went ahead and ordered some St. John's Wort and Aloe Vera suppositories from the pharmacy on my own. St. John's Wort is supposedly super effective, and everyone knows Aloe Vera is amazing and has those anti-cancer properties too. Usually, women use these for gynecological stuff, but common sense tells me they might actually help our situation too. Up until now, you could only find them imported from overseas because our local pharmaceutical companies don't make them, but I found out a local Walgreens near me does custom orders, so I’m gonna see if they work for gut issues too.
I’m seriously praying they actually work 🙂 for my hemorrhoids so I can eventually pass the tip along to some of you... if they don't, 🙂 at least I can warn you guys not to bother trying them 🙂
You just have to try everything... anything to avoid the knife, if that's even possible. Surgery is such a massive shock to the system, not to mention the sheer terror of the recovery or the fear of everything going wrong, only for the hemorrhoids to come right back anyway...
Bottom line: we can't ignore the fact that my hemorrhoids started acting totally crazy right when I was prepping for that brutal job, and now that the stress is over, things are finally settling down.
So,
maybe we should all stop and think about what our bodies are actually trying to tell us... like, did we miss something? What kind of headspace have we been in lately? 🙂hahaha... alright, enough hemorrhoid talk for one night... goodnight everyone, and I hope you all find some relief soon 🙂

So, I realized a few days ago that I’m dealing with hemorrhoids. I’ve been applying Fakto ointment since last Friday. I actually went to see a proctologist this past Tuesday for an exam, and he prescribed some pills, diagnosed me with internal hemorrhoids, and told me to keep using the cream. The main thing is that there's no pain. However, when I checked myself last Friday, I could barely see a single vein. Today, looking again, there seem to be several more right along the edge, and they look slightly swollen. Is this normal, or should they have started receding by now? For context, my stools are soft, I'm watching my diet, and I'm being consistent with both the cream and the medication.

I noticed in some of the earlier threads that a few people mentioned using Hemoroidin capsules from Encian. I was wondering if those are intended strictly for more severe cases, or if they might be appropriate for milder symptoms—or perhaps even used as a preventative measure for those of us who are naturally prone to hemorrhoids?

thank you 😍

I've been using Hemopropin ointment (the external kind) and it’s doing wonders for me. It’s honey-based, which I love... everything has finally calmed down, so fingers crossed it stays that way.

Honestly, Hemoroidin tablets are the absolute best—just take one in the morning and one before your main meal. They help out with both digestion and the hemorrhoids themselves. You'll start seeing a noticeable difference after just a few days. If your symptoms are pretty mild, don't overdo it; once you feel better, just stick with them for another 3-4 days and you're good to go. Also, if you want something even better, check out HEMOREST. Since they're plant-based, they might actually be an even better way to go.

Look, lard. It's cheap, it works, and it’s effective. Just wash it until it turns completely white, and you'll see results within two days. I guarantee it 100%...

And one more thing... if you aren't feeling up to anything else, just brew some chamomile tea—use a few bags, maybe a whole pot's worth... then sit in a warm bath made from that same chamomile water. It helps too. 😉

You might want to give Ruscoven-gel a shot for your veins. It has a cooling effect and works quite well for milder cases of external hemorrhoids, though I have actually heard of a patient who managed to clear everything up with it after trying every other option available...

I’m not actually looking for any ointments... I was specifically asking about capsules 🙂. I deal with internal issues, though thankfully they don't cause massive trouble—it's mostly just some discomfort after sitting for too long or occasionally while I'm on the toilet 🙄. That's why I'm leaning toward capsules; I've found that creams just don't really do much for me, and honestly, I'm not a fan of how they feel. They aren't very practical in my opinion, and they leave me with this strange sensation like I could end up sitting on the toilet for a long, long time 🤦.

Does anyone have any experiences to share??

Last week, I got diagnosed with Noduli haemorrhoidales interni gr III sanguinans at a private clinic. I decided to hold off until next week when I’m scheduled for surgery in New York City using that new THD method. I really thought I could tough it out until then.
But man, after dealing with unbearable pain, bleeding after my morning bathroom trips, burning, chills, and finally running a fever (99.5°F), I hit my limit. I had to go find a proctologist at the hospital immediately.

The specialist at the hospital found out I actually have an early-stage PERIANAL ABSCESS (basically a pocket of pus). After they numbed me up with local anesthesia, the doctor cut the abscess open and drained the pus. Turns out, *that* was the source of the agonizing pain, not just the internal hemorrhoids (even though those were still bleeding). Basically, an inflammatory process kicked off—my Monocytes are high, CRP is at 24 (ref.
And here’s the kicker. I think this whole mess started about 15 days ago after I finished a course of KLAVOCIN and MEDAZOL that my dentist prescribed following some wisdom tooth surgery.

So, what’s the move?
Should I actually take the MEDAZOL? It’s heavy-duty stuff that messes with your stomach and gut, and I'm terrified it’s going to wreck my digestion even more. That's my biggest worry.

A homeopath is suggesting I try SILICA, which is supposedly good for draining up pus-filled abscesses.

Is it possible that the KLAVOCIN triggered some inflammation in my lower colon (PROCTITIS)? A friend who's a doctor mentioned that in cases like this, you use MEDAZOL to counter the nasty side effects caused by KLAVOCIN.
My friend is pushing the MEDAZOL, and my GP is also telling me to just follow the proctologist's orders to protect me from those damn anaerobic bacteria and stop another abscess from forming.

It looks like the antibiotics absolutely nuked my immune system. This isn't even my first rodeo; I first dealt with hemorrhoids exactly three years ago, which flared up big time after I had to take a heavy dose of SUMAMEDA.

Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Please, I need some advice.

Ointments haven't worked for me either. For me, Detralex was the best option. I went through three boxes; they didn't disappear completely, but I felt significantly better. You can find the dosage somewhere else in this thread—for the first box, I think it was either 2x3 or 3x2 per day 🤦, I can't remember exactly, but you don't really need to repeat the last part 🤷.

Proven solutions for hemorrhoids—Hemoroidin capsules and the latest Pilex-ov ones—are pricey, but...

Respect, I'm new here. I've scrolled through most of the posts, but I haven't seen anyone dealing with this exact issue, so I'm kind of stuck wondering what's actually going on. Sorry if I missed something...
So, two days ago I noticed some light itching around my anus, but it was quick, so I didn't think much of it. Then yesterday, the area around my anus started hurting—all the way up to my tailbone—but without any itching or stinging, just straight-up pain. After reading some stuff on here, I tried to feel if there was a lump or something, but honestly, I don't even know. I thought maybe I felt a slight thickening, but then again, maybe not. In the meantime, I picked up some Fakto ointment and things seem a tiny bit better, so I'm guessing it might just be external hemorrhoids.
The only definite symptoms are this constant, intense pain and the fact that I haven't had a bowel movement in 2 or 3 days, even though my habits aren't usually frequent or problematic. I haven't noticed any blood or anything like that. Anyway, I'm heading to the doctor, but I wanted to get some opinions here too since I'm out of town right now—I probably need to hit up the ER (?)
Thanks a lot beforehand

Thank you, 😍 I think I'll do a little searching on Google...

Grab a small mirror and take a look yourself...😉
As for the doctor part—go ahead, but don't expect anything groundbreaking. They'll likely just write you a prescription for a cream, most probably the Fakto you already bought. The constipation thing shouldn't be related to this. It sounds like you definitely have external ones. Does it feel like there's something physically in the way?

Any rough idea how many days until this gets back to normal? 🙂

Ugh... thank God it doesn't hurt yet 🙂 but trust me, it will if you don't get a handle on it. In the last month or so 🙂 honestly, I feel like I've basically earned a medical degree through sheer trial and error, combining both doctors and alternative stuff.
I was using Fakt cream like crazy—and I mean huge amounts—because otherwise, I wouldn't have survived working those three weeks (I was going through a tube every two days!), and I ended up with this weird issue where I couldn't even keep my anus closed. I came to the conclusion that the cream has some kind of anesthetic in it that numbs the tissue to dull the pain. That temporary numbness caused my sphincter to get way too relaxed, which actually hurts in a really bizarre way. It’s like you feel like your guts are just gonna slide right out and you're totally sick. Now, I've scaled back on the Fakt. I didn't cut it out completely, but I'm using it way less. I’ve been pairing it with St. John's Wort oil and aloe vera suppositories, which has started to calm things down a bit. If I'm in actual pain, I go with the cream, but if it's just discomfort, I stick to plain St. John's Wort oil (for the external stuff) and use the suppository internally morning and night.
The whole hemorrhoid mess is tied to "bathroom habits," but we all know people who have perfect digestion but work themselves to death and never have time to eat right. For me, fixing my diet was step one... three meals a day, never skipping breakfast... but then there's work... ugh, we gotta make a living. Unfortunately, that's where we all have to draw our own line.
I still stand by the idea that we can fight most illnesses ourselves. Most doctors won't even suggest surgery unless they have to; instead, they advise us to
try to tackle it some other way. Sadly, everyone is different, and we all have to find our own
personal fix. You see it all the time—some people swear by a product while it does absolutely nothing for someone else. You've got to listen to your body,
watch how you react to different treatments... pay attention... 🙂 that's the only way to actually get better.

Ugh, I honestly just can't seem to kick this thing for good! It keeps coming right back at me. I tried using that propolis ointment, but since I'm dealing with internal hemorrhoids, it's such a rollercoaster—it'll settle down for a tiny bit and then boom, it's right back again! 🙄
