Carol Scott98 said:I saw some people mentioning they've used those Hemoroidin capsules from Encian in earlier posts... so I was wondering, are those only meant for when things get really bad, or can you take them for milder issues too? Like, could someone who's prone to hemorrhoids use them just as a preventative measure before everything goes south?

thanks! 😍

Look, I was just at Walgreens talking to the pharmacist, going over the ingredients for that whole line of capsules, and honestly? It’s nothing spectacular. Just a bunch of herbal stuff like Melissa, marshmallow root, mint, fennel, and barberry... nothing crazy. Personally, I think those pills are a total rip-off considering what's actually inside; we could literally just grab the herbs ourselves and brew our own teas for a fraction of the price. You just have to be disciplined and stick with it for at least six months or more. At the end of the day, nature is really the only thing that can actually help us out.
Look, if those hemorrhoids have already decided to show up and make your life a living hell, you seriously can't just sit there and take it—you absolutely have to start slathering on some creams or oils that actually work, because trust me, doing nothing is just asking for more pain!
It’s common knowledge now that pharmacists are making a killing. They just slap some fancy packaging on it and jack up the price to insane levels!
I get that people think these capsules are just packed with herbal extracts that are impossible to find anywhere else... but honestly, that’s just total BS. Let's be real, it's way easier to just pop a pill and move on with your life than to waste precious time brewing a massive pot of tea every single morning just to carry it around with you all day! Plus, people really need to actually look into what they're consuming, because something like Melissa is super chill and doesn't have any crazy contraindications or anything. 🙂 You really gotta watch out once you start using Berberis, man, seriously—don't just go throwing it around without being careful!
🙂

Look, I'm pretty new to all this drama, but based on everything else I've dealt with in life... you don't stop treatment until you are 100% certain the problem is gone! What do you even mean by "it subsided"!!? Like, the pain just stopped!? Or did you actually go back to the doctor and have them tell you everything is fine!? I'm heading in for an exam tomorrow. Things have finally started calming down—thank God—but I am absolutely sticking with the suppositories even after the pain or irritation stops. I'll see what the surgeon tells me tomorrow, but I'm definitely going to try and push for a follow-up in 3 or 4 months. In the meantime, I'm staying on top of things with: 1) tea (lemon balm, which is great for circulation, heart, stress, etc.) and 2) those St. John's Wort and aloe vera suppositories.
I think that's the only way I'll ever feel totally sure that everything is okay. And obviously, I really need to overhaul my diet and my whole lifestyle too.
I'll let you know 🙂

Any rough idea how many days until things get back to normal? 🙂

Man, I just wrote an entire novel only to accidentally log out of the forum....😠
Here’s the short version...
When I first dealt with them, I stayed in bed and just took it easy for three days...🙄
Keep yourself clean a few times a day... I used lukewarm water.... then apply the cream (don't overdo it, just a tiny bit more than a pea size)... after you go, use wet wipes—they won't irritate your skin or the painful area as much as dry paper would. And obviously, watch what you eat... I won't bore you with that since you probably already know, and there's plenty of advice on this thread about it...
Once, it flared up right in the middle of the workday... man, I couldn't take it, had to head home immediately...😲....these things are incredibly inconvenient.... especially since I earned them at a job I don't even work at anymore (though not by choice).

If you’re looking to kill the pain, I'll say it again: just REST. Lie down on your SIDE. Those first five minutes when you finally settle on your side can be brutal, but once that passes, things calm down and the pain almost vanishes. I'm dealing with stage 4 myself. Also, skip the fried stuff, fast food, and dairy. Instead, do something nice for your body—drink some prune juice three times a day and you won't have any issues. TRUST ME, it works.

As for surgery, honestly, sooner is better than later. Just imagine hitting 60 and realizing hemorrhoids aren't exactly going to fix themselves by then—you really don't want to wait that long. Like I mentioned, I'm planning on going through with the THD method, and I'm crossing my fingers everything goes smoothly... fingers crossed for everyone!

I get what you're saying about diet and lifestyle changes, but before I can even worry about that—or see a doctor—I need to deal with this pain, which has been absolutely brutal since yesterday. 😳 I’ve tried Fakto, hemopropin, and now I'm taking my first dose of Hemoroidin, but honestly, nothing is working. If anything, it's getting worse; I can barely even get out of bed, let alone walk or sit down. 👎 thanx for the advice, hope things get better soon.

So, I’m honestly not quite sure which category this question falls under, so please bear with me if I’ve managed to post this in the wrong place... if anyone could possibly shed some light on my situation, I would truly appreciate it:

About a month ago, I started noticing these little bumps near my anus, toward the vaginal area... they look almost like small pimples. At first, they were red, but over time they’ve turned white... I’ve been doing some searching online, and it looks like it might be some kind of fungal infection, though I can't be certain. Is that even possible? What actually causes something like this, and what is the standard way to treat it? thanks in advance =)

So, I spent an entire year battling those hemorrhoids, and honestly, I tried using Fakto ointment, but it didn't really move the needle for me. While I was scouring the web for actual advice, I stumbled upon some posts about St. John's Wort oil and ended up on this site www.kantarionulje.com. I decided to order the oil, and man, what can I say? After just two months, everything was completely gone. It sounds almost too good to be true, I know! I’m really hoping it works for you guys too. It is definitely worth a shot.

So, I went to see my doctor today—total acupuncture wizard. Statistically, they get incredible results, especially when it comes to calming down hemorrhoids, and while we were talking, they gave me some killer advice on specific exercises to soothe things down there (basically easing those vein inflammations near the anus) and how to massage them properly. (Seriously though, you have to be super gentle with the massage. And listen to this... instead of sitting in a warm bath with chamomile or filling the whole tub with lukewarm water, you should actually use a compress with cold liquid—like chamomile or something soothing like lemon balm... maybe even toss a little ice cube in there if you can. I’m stressing this: since the water is cold, don't sit *in* it; just hover over it and dab the area with a compress, like a piece of gauze or cotton, to cool everything down. Honestly, it sounds like it makes total sense to me 🙂

So, my doctor mentioned yesterday that they finally have some new tablets in stock that are supposed to be absolute game-changers for dealing with hemorrhoid issues.
She just couldn't wrap her head around the name.
They cost about... $43So, I'm looking at a 7-day treatment plan.
It’s not Pilex, and it’s definitely not Detralex.
These tablets don't require a prescription. I actually checked with the local Walgreens—they're open 24/7—but they told me they don't carry anything quite like that at that price point.
Has anyone heard anything about new hemorrhoid tablets hitting the pharmacy shelves lately?

I’m starting to suspect I might be dealing with the same thing myself.
Twice in the last two months, I’ve noticed blood on the toilet paper,
and there’s this persistent, stinging sensation... plus, I’ve been feeling this dull ache in my lower left abdomen.
To be honest, I'm pretty terrified.

All done with the bio... hopefully for good this time! The whole procedure takes maybe 15-20 minutes; they just give you local anesthesia in the area and then the doctor gets to work. You'll feel some discomfort while the doctor is working, especially during the artery ligation part, but honestly, it’s totally manageable. After the surgery, there's just a little bit of soreness rather than actual pain, so popping one or two Voltaren tablets handles it just fine.

So, if any of you are wondering what to do about your hemorrhoids and think THD might be the way to go—just a heads up, you'll have an exam beforehand to see if you're actually a candidate. I personally had stage III.

God bless.

After the surgery, there's just some minor discomfort, nothing crazy, so a couple of Advil tablets take care of that.

So, if you're all sitting there wondering what to do about your hemorrhoids and thinking THD might be the move (you get an exam first to see if you're even a candidate—I had stage III myself), go for it.

God help us all.

Must be nice. I really hope you've put those struggles behind you. I'm not ready for surgery yet. I'm still stuck on Medazol after dealing with a nasty abscess that probably flared up because of my inflamed hemorrhoids. Even after feeling way better (I was at the hospital yesterday for an anoscopy with a veteran proctologist who insisted I'm improving), today the pain and burning are back in full force. My doctor barely mentioned THD and basically told me I don't need surgery and should just listen to him. But man, I just want this misery gone forever—at least, that's the dream. I can't deal with this anymore. At my next check-up, I’m going to show him the info on THD and get his actual expert opinion. I didn't want to push the issue while I was in this state anyway. And let me tell you, "this state" means I couldn't sit, lie down, stand, or walk. Nothing. My advice: if you have hemorrhoids and you start getting chills, muscle spasms, a fever, or a weird waddling gait along with bleeding and pain after a BM, get to a proctologist immediately, regardless of how much the exam is going to suck. I made it just in time (literally the day after I hit a 99.5°F fever). The fact that I had a fever alongside the hemorrhoids seemed sketchy, so I did some digging online, realized it wasn't okay, and headed to the hospital. My private specialist wanted to jump straight to a procedure five days ago, but he probably would've seen the infection in my blood work and backed off anyway.
Anyway, I've decided to play by the rules and listen to this experienced proctologist. If that's what he says, that's what I'll do, because I've learned the hard way that neither Pilex, nor Anuice, nor some herbal salve or homeopathy is doing squat.
If this inflammation settles down and the doctor confirms THD is the right call, then I'm in. In the meantime, Amy Cooper2, please keep us posted on how you're doing over the next few days. What's your take on that Israeli doctor? The guy was the president of the American Proctological Association for years. He definitely knows his stuff. I was actually hoping they'd use spinal anesthesia (that's what I'd ask for, anyway).

So, here's the thing... This might sound a little funny, but I really need to ask... Here is my situation. When I have a large bowel movement, it feels as if there's something sharp in there that scrapes me, and then afterward, I see a bit of blood on the toilet paper. Does anyone know what that could be? I could really use some help here... 🤷

Greetings;
Over the last two months, I’ve dealt with bleeding on two separate occasions. It’s that unmistakable spot of blood on the toilet paper after a bowel movement, and naturally, I went into a bit of a panic. Since I’ve been sticking to a strict diet, I’ve been struggling with some rather hard stools, so my best guess is that the two are linked—especially since there was an intense burning sensation around the area following those specific movements. I’ve applied some topical cream a few times now, and so far, things seem to be under control. At first, I actually convinced myself the blood was just from eating beets, but realized that wasn't the case.
There is one other thing weighing on my mind. For about twenty days now, I've been feeling a dull ache in my abdomen, specifically to the left of my navel. It isn't an agonizing pain—it's quite faint, barely noticeable if you aren't looking for it—but it is persistent. My doctor has assured me there is nothing to worry about, and I suspect it might be related to my current dietary regimen (which I started following per the UN guidelines), but despite the medical reassurance, I can't help but feel uneasy.
In my estimation, these two issues are entirely unrelated, even though they initially caused me a fair amount of anxiety.

amberowl27 said:Hey there;
I've dealt with bleeding twice in the last two months. Just seeing spots of blood on the toilet paper after using the bathroom. Of course, I totally freaked out. Since I'm on a diet right now, I've been dealing with some pretty hard stools, so I'm assuming that's the culprit—plus, things felt like they were burning like crazy after those trips to the restroom. I've applied some cream a few times, and so far, everything seems fine. At first, I thought maybe it was just from eating beets, but nope, turns out it wasn't.
One other thing is bugging me. My stomach has been aching, just to the left of my belly button, for about 20 days now. It's a super light pain, barely noticeable, but it’s definitely there. My doctor told me not to worry about it, and since I'm on this diet (it's been hurting ever since I started the UN diet), I'm still feeling a little anxious.
I don't think the two issues are related, even though it spooked me at first.

Hey guys, if you want smoother movements, try taking some mineral oil. Just drink about 20-30 ml before bed; it doesn't have any taste or smell... you can find it somewhere $4.00 like a pharmacy... they recommended it to me back when I had surgery for an artery issue (THD).

If you don't mind sharing, which doctor did you go to for this?

Look, I've been dealing with some serious business down there for a while now—pretty sure it's hemorrhoids. So far, my GP told me it's just one external one, but I have a gut feeling I've got internal ones too. About a year ago, I noticed bright red blood in my stool, and lately, for the last 7 or 8 months, things have been stinging and aching like crazy after I go. Sometimes the pain just hits out of nowhere, and it feels like everything is inflamed. I've been trying everything—slathering on creams and washing constantly—until things settle down enough that my gas and IBS issues aren't flaring up. But once that happens, the whole area starts hurting again... Honestly, I'm terrified of the doctors, the exams, and the actual pain.😲

I don't know what's going on with you, but honestly, it sounds like hemorrhoids. You just gotta deal with it—don't spend years suffering like I did for a solid 15 years... all because I was terrified of doctors. Seriously though, the exam doesn't even hurt that much. It’s totally normal; they just put on a glove, use some lube so it's smooth, and since they're only checking with one finger, you barely feel a thing.

The THD method in New York City is done at the K-Center clinic. It's performed by an Israeli doctor who I think is a visiting specialist, so he's only there once a month. The guy is clearly super experienced, a real proctologist... if you want more details on how the method works, just do a quick Google search... all I can say is that after two days, I can actually sit down without pain. The hemorrhoids are still there and definitely noticeable when I'm on the toilet, but that passes quickly (especially if you use some castor oil on cotton pads as a compress). The doctor promised me they'll be gone in about a month.

Just a little heads-up on why that area is so sensitive: my doctor mentioned that there are actually more nerve endings back there than on a woman's nipple, which is why the pain feels so intense...

Try using some castor oil, wash up more often during the day—if you can't, just use baby wipes (make sure they're alcohol-free)—and eat plenty of fruit and salad. Avoid heavy pasta and dairy for now. Just stick to that until things calm down (usually takes about 2-3 weeks).

If there's anything else I can do to help, just let me know!

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with an external hemorrhoid for a while now. Things have actually settled down lately, but I'm still weighing my options regarding IR coagulator surgery. Has anyone here actually gone through with that specific method? A lot of people tell me it’s painless and over before you know it, but even if I get it removed, there's no guarantee they won't just pop back up again. I'd love to hear from anyone who's more experienced with this. Thanks!

So, here’s the situation: about a month ago, I noticed some skin buildup near my anal opening—sort of little round bumps that looked whitish... I went to see a doctor, and he told me it was just a fungal infection, specifically Candida, and prescribed a cream... I’ve been applying it twice a day for a week now, but honestly, I don't feel like it's doing anything at all. Now, the color has changed from white to more of a reddish, skin-toned hue... and I’ve noticed that in one specific spot, there’s occasional bleeding... which is starting to really worry me. Is it even possible for a fungus to bleed like that? And how long am I supposed to be using this cream before things actually clear up? OR ARE THESE HEMORRHOIDS? HOW DO YOU EVEN TREAT THEM? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
