"In Da Club"... honestly, it's some of the best rap I've ever laid my ears on.
The whole wankst vibe is just...😲
And then there's "21 Questions"...😕

Just insanely good.

Come on, man, his stage name alone tells you everything you need to know about his talent...
Imagine if he went by Fifty Bucks or Three Dollars...🙄

... look, I can't claim to be some huge hip-hop expert or anything, but honestly, "In Da Club" is just one of those super mid rap tracks I've come across

Finally—someone said it. In my book, 50 Cent isn't just defined by those three radio hits. His album Get Rich or Die Tryin' is actually a masterpiece because he’s just being himself—no fake personas, no over-the-top acting, just raw honesty about his own life..

... look, I can't claim to be some huge expert on the whole rap and hip-hop scene, but "In Da Club" is honestly one of those more mediocre rap tracks I've ever listened to.

It’s pretty obvious you aren't really tapped into the rap/hip-hop world.

Honestly, I don't think this really goes anywhere, mostly because I can think of about a million songs just like it.

For instance... the first one that popped into my head was

Jay-Z _ Hov Baby (you know, that "can't touch the untouchables" line from the Reebok commercial)

But I guess you could say it's more of an R&B vibe🙏

Or even R. Kelly - Ignition...

Personally, I think Mystikal is absolutely incredible with "Danger"...

I could honestly blast that track 150 times in a row, anywhere and anytime, and it would never get old for me....

And regarding that small change, their entire album is fantastic; sure, there might be two or three songs that don't quite hit the mark for me, but everything else is solid.👍

50 Cent isn't bad... but there are plenty of artists who are just better.

I mean, guys like Jay-Z and Dr. Dre... they've always been on a different level than him.

Thank Jesus we’ve finally moved away from all that tedious metal and alternative stuff for a bit.
I feel like I try to shake things up on this forum every single time by starting threads about Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, or some cheesy pop hits, but nobody ever bites...😉 😁
Anyway, back to 50 Cent... he's alright, but there are definitely better out there.
The only thing is... I just can't wrap my head around how anyone could group that clown Sean Paul in the same conversation as 50 Cent.

The guy barely even enunciates, his flow is non-existent, zero melody, and the lyrics are just straight-up moronic.....

If we're going to discuss rap... pff... the genre is frankly a bit exhausting... though if you want to talk about what actually works, Ghostface Killah is legendary, and Cypress Hill is solid... everything else is just noise, folks. As for 50 Cent, he’s really just one of those artists who hitched a ride with a superstar—in this case, Eminem—to drop a record... the whole thing feels like an Eminem production... since his "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" approach didn't quite hit the mark initially, he pivoted to 50 Cent to ensure success... mind you, I'm not bashing rap itself, just Eminem and his little "projects"...

But look, Cypress Hill? They were absolute rap/rock superstars. Lowriders, that one music video where the guy is running away—what was it called? Oh, right, "Trouble"... just hit me. It’s freaking legendary.

Then you've got DMX - 🙏
(And that new track is just as fire 👍 -DMX "Gonna Give It To Ya")

And don't even get me started on Jay-Z - 'The Blueprint'. The whole thing is a masterpiece.
