I honestly didn't see it being this good. Man, life is wild. The craziest part of all was when my mom (the good old Kim) actually asked me for sex advice. Oh my god! My friend and I were watching it, and she turns to me and goes, "Hey, imagine if your own mother complained to you that her man doesn't want to lick her?"😉

Yeah, that scene was absolutely pathetic. 🙏
Seriously though, if they ever decided to put on a concert, that would be AMAZING!👍

Look, I’m a big Eminem fan, but this movie? It’s just mediocre. If it wasn't for Eminem himself (who is totally fine) and those battles at the shelter, there wouldn't be any bright spots in this whole thing.

Man, Eminem sucks... As the number one guy, he can't even sing, and as the number two guy, he can't act, which makes his movie look like a total joke... 😁 🙂 😁

The movie was honestly a mess. I just couldn't wrap my head around the point of it all. Even though I have a deep appreciation for any kind of autobiographical filmmaking—including this one—I still just didn't get it...

"8 Mile" is seriously well-directed—at least if you ask me—it’s got decent cinematography, solid acting, the whole nine yards...
the only real downside is how predictable the ending gets, which honestly happens with pretty much every movie centered on the "American Dream."

In this movie, he totally proved he can act, too—and don't even get me started on the rapping part.

Yeah, right... waiting for the battle... you spend the whole time just sitting there, holding your breath, praying they'll actually say something. Like, "Come on, please, just say one thing, anything!" And then, finally, when they drop it... aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, YES!! 😁

Watched it today... I'm feeling pretty indifferent about the whole thing. It wasn't exactly a stroke of genius, but it certainly wasn't terrible either. I'd say it leans more toward being good than bad. 😁

Fair enough, though it feels a little dark. Hailie is adorable, and it’s honestly really sweet seeing Eminem playing with her. It’s kind of wild when you realize what people actually go through to make it big and find fame. It isn't always sunshine and rainbows, but hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles!

All the battles in the movie are awesome. I mean, it’s not exactly a cinematic masterpiece, but it was really cool getting a glimpse into that world. By the end, it felt like they left the door open for a sequel. Who knows?
They did such a great job showing his mental state through how he interacts with the world around him and vice versa... I felt totally immersed, like I was actually there. Honestly, I got completely sucked into the vibe of this film.
I wouldn't call myself an Eminem fan, though.
I just think the guy can freaking freestyle, and honestly, he made a brilliant move by turning all that energy into the career he has now.
Yeah, something like that.

Maybe this could work if you just need to kill an afternoon. It’s just a bit much with all the rap and ink flooding the screen... 👎 👎
