Look, your replies are pretty sarcastic, but tastes differ. Since this movie is basically high-budget garbage (in my opinion), just because I don't like it doesn't mean I'm obsessed with cute stuff. Actually, I can't stand that kind of thing either. I get it—if you're a die-hard Eminem fan, then my posts might feel like an insult to you. But just because I think one little flick (and let's call it that, because it's barely a movie) is useless, it doesn't mean my taste is limited to one specific genre. Again, I REPEAT: I DO NOT LIKE this Eminem autobiographical story! There have been plenty of movies in a similar vein (gritty, gray, featuring a tough crew, 😛 but with actual style) that I could still watch for hours today. So, I'm wrapping up this debate right here: in MY opinion, the film is total low-quality trash and a failed attempt to force its way into Hollywood 👎

Did this thing actually win any Oscars? Caught it on TV yesterday. First time seeing it. Man, for a split second I thought they were actually trying to make a movie (that babe, she was incredible, but the guy was just... yikes), but this wouldn't even pass for a student film... 😲

It’s an undeniable fact that the acting is subpar, and honestly, the only reason Brittany Murphy looks so good in this movie is because of that... well, how should I put this? To borrow a line from that song by baja mali Knindža, "look how that little Streetwalker was laughing like a total slut." That's essentially her role here. The plot itself feels incredibly aimless, much like the chaotic lives of any random drifter you might encounter in the US. The film only manages to stay watchable because of a few specific moments. For me, there were only two scenes that actually resonated: the one where she starts singing, "because I live at home in a trailer, mom I'm coming back to you," or something along those lines, and then that final moment when she wins that battle and starts belting out, "now everybody from the 313, put ya muthafucking hands up... 313, fuck free world..."

In short, as a cinematic experience, I found the movie quite tedious. (At least for me.) Of course, everyone has their own unique taste.

I don't know, I thought the movie was solid—basically Rocky for a rapper.
Yesterday, the only thing that pissed me off was Novatv cutting the film right as that Oscar-winning soundtrack kicked in at the end.🤦
