Amelie is the first and last movie where I watched the trailer and thought, "Okay, this might actually be the best thing ever." Then I finally sat down to watch it... and honestly? It was even better. Just leaves me feeling good after a viewing... kind of like how I feel today 🙂

Last night, I caught a screening of The Diary of Amelia Pullen on one of the major networks, and wow, what a beautiful movie. It really struck a chord with me because of how much she wanted to brighten everyone else's life. In that apartment building where she lived, it felt like every single neighbor had some tragic backstory or their own unique set of struggles. She poured everything she had into trying to teach people how to live right and make their lives a little more colorful, especially since everyone seemed stuck in this sort of hollow, empty existence—even if that emptiness eventually became their reality. But then there was her secret, almost mystical side to things. I actually found myself relating to her quite a bit; there was just something so captivating about that dreamy quality, especially regarding the guy she kept dreaming about and waiting for. After all that longing and imagination, he finally shows up! If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend giving it a watch, though I have a feeling most of you probably have already. To me, the film is just so quirky and engaging. It’s imaginative and touches on those deep, internal things we all carry, like
