A living being is a living being, and if we start tolerating cruelty toward animals, we're just one step away from tolerating it toward people...

A living being isn't just some abstract concept, okay? Animals are real, tangible things.

Anyway, this year sentence is strictly for ownerless animals. If you mess with a pet that actually has an owner, it should be two years—basically applying the statute regarding destruction of someone else's property.

But because of that last little line of yours, they obviously lumped all animals together, including strays. It's ridiculous. Nothing's gonna happen to you if you find a > painting on the street and rip it to shreds.

Oh my goodness, have you all seen this? It is just—well, I don't even know where to start! ☕ It’s one of those stories that really makes you stop and think about how much things change, doesn't it?

Honestly, this might be the biggest hype train this game has ever seen since its very first launch 🙏

Dunno. First, we gotta define what "official service" even means.

Officiality—just so we don't confuse it with actual service.

Mostly yeah, just so there's some kind of authority behind something like the 7 Wonders of the World. I mean, nobody owns those. Plus, terms like "wonder" or "world" are pretty abstract and loosely defined.

I’d call official info something like when a pro athlete signs with a club and it's confirmed by the team owners or a spokesperson. Throwing undefined concepts into undefined categories isn't what I'd call an official confirmation. Nobody has authority over vague concepts that aren't even tied to specific organizations that could issue an official statement anyway.

Is Pluto a planet, btw?

Animal lovers 🙏

this guy used to go out of his way to dodge dogs and cats on the street 🙏🙏

but did it ever cross his mind to watch out for butterflies, beetles, fleas, mosquitoes, or even birds... 🙏🙏

while descending that steep cliff, he ended up crushing a few hundred creatures along the way 🙏🙏

he was telling a friend, over a dinner of roasted lamb, all about that absolute monster from the Honda 🙏🙏

Look, you're just dragging this out and talking nonsense, kind of like that buddy of yours who nods along while you guys tear into a roast lamb dinner

Not really. He’s like a tiny planet, maybe something along the lines of Lionel Messi.

Yeah, I'm with you. You can't really have something like "official" 7 Wonders of the World or "officially" five most beautiful animals. The word "official" doesn't belong there.

Not so sure about Pluto, though. Pretty sure it isn't.

Either way, he's bigger than Ivan Rakitić, which is basically just one speck from Saturn's rings.

That was him, speaking to his buddy over dinner, the one who actually took the photo and reported the Honda driver, not me...☕

But really, what are we going to do about the millions of animals that end up crushed under car bumpers?

I don't kill anything. I eat meat, sure, but I don't kill. Not perfect, yeah, I'm a weakling. But if a mosquito wakes me up in the middle of the night, I just move to a different room. Baby steps, man. Even if you think that's hypocritical, hey, at least I'm doing something right.

do you really think someone shouldn't give a damn about non-human life just because they're a carnivore? Like, since you had chicken for lunch, does that mean you can just squash a bug later because "whatever, I eat meat anyway"?

My bad on the mix-up, totally messed up who I was replying to.

Look, it’s not some cosmic tragedy where a guy accidentally hits a stray animal on the road; that stuff happens all the time.

The real tragedy is when someone just leaves helpless living creatures out in the open, exposing them to all this bullshit they didn't ask for. It’s all because of pure negligence—the kind where people put themselves in a spot where they even have to deal with stray dogs and cats in the first place.

I mean those moments when it’s just being annoying and buzzing right in your ear. Like, what am I supposed to do? Grab a pillow and move to the living room, I guess. 😁

Personally, I eat meat just like everyone else eats conventional food. Animals do it too, but unlike us, they aren't killing out of pure spite—plus, they have way less consciousness to worry about. If you eat meat, which in my book is totally fine, that doesn't mean those animals should be suffering. Like, what kind of idiots would toss cows around a farm with excavator buckets?
