Wait, you guys actually follow all of this? You listen to the speeches, the statements from headquarters, study the polls, the results, and everything else 🤣 🤣

Seriously, what on earth is driving you to be this obsessed?

oh, nothing much, man, life's just absolutely perfect right now
except I got steamrolled by two total soldiers (one like a heavy mare gasping her last breath and the other like a shaky colt in labor),
besides the fact that I got drained dry by two different socio-economic systems (watching dead socialism collapse and wild capitalism struggle to be born)
and having watched one millennium die out just to witness the start of the next one

it’s a classic case of being in the wrong place at the absolute worst time...

Come on, don't be such a drama queen, for God's sake.😁

There was never such a thing as "the right time" here; something always gets in the way before everything can finally run smooth. Every generation has its own history of trauma and circumstances they were supposed to rise above, along with a long list of reasons why they didn't.
There’s no room for defeatism or despair. Let's be bold and aggressive about making new conquests in this new year.☕

If it's anything like what happened to Tottenham, then I'm perfectly fine with how things are going.

Matthew Young35, do you celebrate Christmas? Got a nice Christmas tree at home? A nativity scene? Heading out for Advent?
It’s actually fascinating how many "Atheists" and "I'm not Catholic" types still celebrate Christmas. So, I have to wonder... are you and Zinedine Zidane part of that little club?

I celebrate having a day off work.
I don't do Advent.
To be honest, I can't stand it; the city is cluttered with cheap trinkets and tacky decor.
And frankly, I don't have a Christmas tree or a Nativity scene.
I've never been one for kitsch.
As if my life wasn't complicated enough already.

If someone else enjoys it, that doesn't bother me, if that's what you're asking.

It seems Zinedine Zidane is constantly on your mind; I certainly hope you have some soft tissues handy for your eyes when you start tearing up over him. ☕

By the way, why do you capitalize the word "Atheist" and wrap it in quotation marks in this specific context? I am genuinely curious if there is any actual intellectual reasoning behind such an endeavor.

By the way, happy St. Matthew's Day to Paul Martinez73 and the rest of those "Catholics" who work so diligently to maintain the spiritual purity of the American people.

To everyone else, I wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas; stay close to your loved ones and try to be grateful for what you have, if only for a brief moment. There will always be plenty of time for complaining later on.

Well, yeah... a massive pile of atheists (and plenty of others) celebrate Christmas. What’s weird about that? We don't look at it through the lens of faith because Christmas is anything but a religious holiday.

As an atheist, I see Christmas as a holiday for eating great food and pizza, a time to hang out with friends and family, a time when I listen to..

...I hang red hats and fairy lights on the walls, treat myself and my neighbors to some nice gifts, and drop a ton of cash. It's pure commercialism, man.

For us atheists, Christmas is just a day off work. It's a commercial holiday just like Halloween. We don't give a damn—we don't work, we stay home with the family, and then we head out at night to grab drinks with the crew and mess around.

Edit: Honestly, what's better is that a huge bunch of you Catholics do the exact same thing. Instead of Jesus under the tree, there's a chocolate Santa Claus. Instead of religious hymns coming from the speakers, it's just loud music while people knock back their seventeenth beer and talk about patriotism at the table while the cleaners wash the plates that the whole Catholic crowd just smeared with lunch.

...I'm walking around hanging red hats and fairy lights on the walls, treating myself and my buddies to some nice gifts, and blowing a massive amount of cash. It's pure commercialism, man.

For us atheists, Christmas is basically just a day off work—a commercial holiday just like Halloween. Honestly, who cares? We don't work, we stay home with the family, and then we head out at night to grab drinks with the crew and just mess around.

Edit: And honestly, what's better? Most of you Catholics do the exact same thing. Instead of looking for Jesus under the tree, you've got a chocolate Santa Claus there instead. Instead of actual religious hymns, you've got pop songs blasting from speakers while people knock back their seventeenth beer, talking about patriotism around the table while the cleaning crew scrubs the plates that the whole Catholic crowd just finished using for lunch.[/I]

Looking at this parasitic mindset of yours, all I see are the core foundations of communism. Seriously, give me a break.

If I were in charge, I’d abolish Christmas.

First off, the useless crowds that result in absolutely zero productivity.
Everyone posts a thousand identical pictures of some decorated fir tree, sends a thousand nearly identical GIFs with the same greeting, and shares a thousand photos of basically the same lunch.

At home, you can only end up fighting with your family, and there’s nowhere to run because everyone stays inside doing nothing.
I'd much rather be at work.

If anyone actually wants to celebrate, they can head over to Canada that day.

Merry Christmas.
