Anthony Wright30 said:I suppose I fail to see what's funny. I just finished watching Episode 5, and honestly, the series seems quite excellent; it probably couldn't have arrived at a more opportune moment.

For me, it totally ruined my perception of Jordan, and especially Scottie Pippen.

Edit: And I'm not talking about how they treated Toni Kukoč—I mean just generally.

They asked him, "Who’s supposed to take the kids to school if people over 65 can't do it and parents are working?"

Capak just replied, "I don't have an answer for that."

As for my own take, I don't really have an issue with Jordan; in fact, I think it's quite a positive trait that he didn't back the Black candidate during the elections, which seems to be what the libtards are complaining about. He’s a relentless fanatic, and I’ve always known that, which is something I don't particularly mind.

Scottie Pippen, on the other hand, really gets under my skin because it feels like everything he did was purely about the money, even though he was the one who agreed to those contract terms in the first place. Then, he turns around and lashes out at his boss, acting as if he hadn't been brought into the fold himself, or as if he were somehow coerced into signing that deal. Personally, I wouldn't want to offer him a new contract if he's going to act that foolishly.

Some guy is asking the head of the CDC if masks aren't mandatory on public transit like they are in Spain, Italy, Germany, and all those other places just because we can't get enough supplies.

CDC: No, it's just because that's what we decided.🤣

Look, money was the main story with Jordan too. Man, at the UN medal ceremony, the guy literally covers the Reebok logo with an American flag just because he's the Nike poster boy.🤣

I've got nothing against him being competitive and focused on winning, but his attitude—the constant whining, acting like he's everyone's boss, and bullying his teammates during practice—just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
The guy acts like some local mob boss sitting in his office while teammates come in asking for favors for their families or friends, and he just pulls something out of his drawer and mocks them.🤣

If Jordan hadn't been that kind of guy, he probably never would have grabbed the title.

You don't have to be a complete jerk to be a legendary athlete.

🤣 That’s quite a scene.

Well, those were different times, I suppose; nobody really cared if someone ended up feeling insulted back then. You wouldn't see a team from that era apologizing to China or causing a public scandal over something minor.

The reality might be that his particular style of tyranny effectively turned a group of bulls into a machine, while also shaping the actual roster. Many players have suggested they became who they are today specifically because of the sheer intensity of training with him, since he was, perhaps, a bit of a fanatic.

I’m totally on the same page as Elizabeth Mendoza, because honestly, looking at what happened over these last five episodes, Jordan comes across as your classic textbook bully, just straight up getting away with picking on everyone in his orbit, and man, seeing how he treated Krause actually made me feel bad for him several times, like a total "wtf" moment.

You seriously don't have to be such a complete piece of trash just to reach the top, and if anything, history shows us that's definitely not the case.

It's actually Episode 6 🤷

...unless you haven't watched a single thing.

What's truly messed up about him is how he looked for that "drive" in everything. He turned everything into a competition. You couldn't even look at him the wrong way without it being framed as a lack of drive.

Compared to Jordan's level of obsession, Kobe is practically a toddler.

Beroš doesn't even know how much we paid them, then suddenly Capak jumps in claiming 100 tests cost $4,500 🤣

I really hope February doesn't get too caught up watching The Last Dance, because if she does, she’ll definitely find something to complain about regarding a Black man being in a position of power. Man, she would just chew that whole situation up and spit it out.

By this point in the game, we really should have knocked out somewhere between 10,000 and 20,000 serological tests already, but instead, we're just stuck with whatever this mess is. So yeah, that's basically the whole story.
