Exactly my point.

Just wanted to give credit where it's due—I’ve noticed people are actually starting to get disciplined around here.🙏

I honestly don't get it, like, fundamentally, why won't they just let us stir the pot a little bit, even in the off-topic sections—well, not totally off-topic, more like the general sports lounge? Think about the engagement, man. More clicks, please. Isn't that basically the whole philosophy behind those big media conglomerates like Disney or something?

At the end of the day, you guys should just spin up two separate threads for La Liga, right? Make one of them feel like those intense 90-minute matchday discussions on ESPN, and then make the other one a total free-for-all where nothing gets deleted except the actual insults.
Then we can just sit back and see which one actually pulls more traffic, and we'll see how much weight that excuse "some users stay quiet because others are just trolling too hard" really carries.

Honestly, I’ve got a feeling if you actually opened a legit thread for La Liga, the only person who would bother posting anything is Taylor Thompson4.

It’s permitted, sure, but there has to be a limit. It can't go on forever.

Splitting up Primera into two separate topics would be an even bigger disaster 🙂

David Anderson72 said:That automatically creates grounds to question a moderator's impartiality. Especially when we know the case is specific and the moderator happens to be a fan of one of the teams. In the real world, we call that a conflict of interest.

Believe whatever you want, man. It all ends up in the same place. The only thing that actually matters is whether your penalty was legit or not.

I agree with restlesssurfer97. If we put together a freestyle example, it should surpass the current one by spring 🙂

Thinking about it more, I’m not buying that suggestion. It’s not that Robert Torres' posts lack substance—it’s just that he isn't talking about the Lakers or the Celtics. Let's be real, even with a few fans of the Knicks, Heat, or Mavs hanging around, everyone's eyes are glued to the heavy hitters. That’s just how the public follows the game. Dropping two new threads won't suddenly make people care about teams outside the big two. That's just the reality of it.

First freestyle 🙏

I can't help but chuckle just thinking about how that would actually play out. 🤣

How would having two separate threads prevent that?

True, we provide plenty of clicks here—which I'm sure the owner wants—but the moderators won't allow it. 🤷 Maybe we should just send a private message to Anderson.🤷

What was the state of Primera before that month? 🤷

Actually, just send him a thread about a La Liga matchup—or better yet, an old El Clásico discussion—so he can see exactly how things go down firsthand.

I’m suggesting we implement a total ban on those tedious cookie-cutter ("X is the greatest/worst ever") quotes from every single person who dares to comment on Messi or Ronaldo.

I really feel for Daniel Morgan2.

Even back during the Euro, people were suggesting it might be a good idea to have a single superstar—because that matchup between Moki and image TopiC was honestly legendary
.
Personally, I think trying to reform them or force them into line is a total waste of time—just like how much it bothers me that the whole vibe at Madison Square Garden has been stuck relying on those machines for far too long now
.
At the end of the day, both sides ended up marking this PDF, didn't they? 🤷

We’ve already covered this topic before, so why aren't you listening to the folks who spent their last bits of common sense right here in these threads? image
