Look, the idea here is simple: we drop links to match highlights or full replays—just like we used to do back in the old Forum Five days. It keeps us all on the same page regarding major soccer matches and stops people from making up nonsense based on pure guesswork.

We’re talking about deep dives and analysis here, not just raw footage. I don't know if you've been paying attention, but I mean post-match breakdowns similar to what Robert Torres used to post over at ESPN. Having one dedicated thread where you can check the weekly analysis for every major league? That would be top-tier.

Hmm. I see we have something somewhat similar already, but yeah, definitely no video—people here would basically just post alongside a "detailed summary." 😁 I don't know about you guys, but reading through Robert Torres' takes on La Liga or Christian Green64's stuff on the Bundesliga can be a real chore, especially when you compare it to those mindless sports news sites that miss half the actual story anyway. The only real headache might be if too many people try to cover the same league at once—like, say, League 5—but we could probably just handle that with some sort of application process. These niche international leagues would just be an awesome extra. 😁 And honestly, I don't think you can find anywhere else on the internet where a full weekly overview for that many different leagues would drop all in one place on the exact same day. Some of these writers might even end up getting job offers from it. 😁

Man, what an idea. 🙏

We could give it a shot, why not 🤷

I’d suggest limiting this thread to just one analysis at a time—no commentary, no fluff, none of that other spam—otherwise the whole thing is just going to get clogged up

So, is anyone actually going to be signing up to claim which league they’re taking on, and if so, when is that happening? 🤷

For what it's worth, I think the whole concept is pretty damn solid. 👍

Good grief, the ingenuity 🙏 of these 🙏 😁

Yeah, deletijs, just stick to posting round analyses—everything else goes in the thread already titled "Other Leagues."

well, that is actually the whole point behind this,🤷 I could easily go wandering off to the other league threads right now and dig through all the junk until I stumble upon someone like Griffin or Casey White13, but keeping everything right here on one single thread means people will actually put in the effort, you know, like actually sitting down on a Monday night, killing an hour, and catching up on everything that happened on the field over the weekend.😬 🍿

😬

Yeah, no debating allowed, period. All the discussions move to their own respective threads. On this specific thread, we're just reading. We would strictly ban any obvious trolls, though, because having some humor and wit is totally fine, and there's really no reason to get worked up if someone takes a healthy little jab at "your club,"😁 but if a post is clearly biased or just straight-up trolling, it gets deleted and they won't be getting another chance to post it. So simple.🤷

we’ll settle on who handles what here—basically, first come, first served.

I'm taking Australia. ☕

Man, I totally just jumped the gun on everyone else here.

Even if it's Prem, I'm staying on top of everything and I already know the deal. 🙂

If there happen to be several people interested in the same league, perhaps they could just take turns.

I’m calling on Robert Torres (if he’s actually up for it, that is) to step up for Primera.

I usually just catch the games on replay, you know? Like, if it’s played on a Saturday, I might not even get around to watching it until Monday or even Tuesday. So, honestly, I wouldn't be the best person to ask about being up-to-speed on anything right now, but starting next season we could 😁

The concept itself is solid though. Pretty much dig it.

I'm all for any idea that actually makes the content on these forums better ☕ .

Look, I can cover the Americans and the Spanish, but honestly, doing this every single week is just too much work... maybe every other week or once a month instead 😬

(Consider that my official directive for anyone actually sober left in this thread—if there are any of you left, obviously)

let's move it 🍿

I’m laying this out right here for you, dear mods, just in case you happen to miss it
when you inevitably get hit by a wave of jealousy or whatever else strikes you.

Note to the admins:

Look, honestly—the mods aren't actually getting anywhere with this situation. They're just spinning their wheels and it's getting incredibly frustrating, so I figured... why not just throw this out there and see what happens? 🤷

Don't take it personally, okay? :trese dekoltejČiĆ:

Look, there are plenty of folks on this forum following the lower English leagues, so why don't we just spin up a dedicated thread for that instead of clogging up the "Other Leagues" section? 🍿
