I can't believe this guy is bringing that nonsense here—it’s like watching someone try to fix a Tesla with a hammer. Just leave the garbage at the door.

Robin Fox2 said:Fuentes just got slapped with a one-year ban from all sporting activities—and to make matters worse, they’re wiping every single blood sample and shredding all the digital data. It’s a total scorched-earth policy.

Yeah, honestly, it wouldn't make much sense if they didn't look like a complete joke—having the Lakers, the Yankees, the NFL, Nadal, and everyone else on that recipient list? It’s almost too predictable. And yet, we sit here acting shocked by this supposed "Spanish sporting miracle." Seriously, Stico, try catching up to the trends for once!

graniteangler31 said:Eufemiano Fuentes—the physician who sat right at the eye of the storm during those massive doping scandals involving cycling, track and field, tennis, and soccer—just dropped a bombshell. He’s claiming that if he were actually allowed to go on the record and testify, the American national teams would have their European Championship titles and World Cup trophies stripped away faster than you can blink. It’s a heavy accusation, delivered with that signature "what if" weight that makes you wonder just how deep the rabbit hole goes.

🤷

Interesting, isn't it?

Everything comes to light once the spotlights fade. 🙂

And somehow... you can't just ignore that recent, shameless stunt where they shut down the entire discussion after the whole chain story came to light—completely deleting everything for absolutely no reason. I’m convinced it’s just another one of those transparently motivated moves from our "stellar" super-moderators.

Are we actually going to sit here and talk about that botched diagnosis, or what?

It would actually be pretty great if someone could just lock these posts down—if that’s even an option here—so we can stop dealing with random people popping in. You know the type: folks who haven't cared about this topic for years, yet they show up out of nowhere to chime in. If we could just clear out those irrelevant distractions, we could finally get back to the actual discussion without being interrupted by people who aren't even part of the conversation anymore.

What’s everyone thinking?

Are we getting a separate thread for the U-17 Euros starting tomorrow?

I mean, I think it’d be a good call. People are gonna be watching this tournament pretty closely, especially since our kids have such big ambitions. Plus, any time we actually qualify for a youth championship finals like this, it deserves its own space, you know? Since we rarely make it to the final stages, we should probably take advantage of it.

Patrick Wright2 said:I'm all over the Premier League, the Championship, and both League One and Two, plus I've got my eyes glued to the Australian league right now, so I’m more than happy to dive into any talk about those. If you guys really want me to, I can definitely expand my coverage to include Ligue 1 and Serie A too—specifically focusing on the Lyon and Milan matches.

First 👋

The rest of you weigh in—half of what was posted last time was just nonsense, not worth taking seriously. Or is it possible nobody actually wants anything?

Start a thread if you think you have enough material for a decent intro.

Just keep in mind I'll shut the thread down if it turns into a debate about Messi's growth hormone treatments.

And no, I won't be returning any posts.

Why not? Open the thread.

The moderator is clearly trying to rename this whole MLS thread to "Juventus Champions 2012/2013."

Gentlemen, why has the Ballon d'Or thread been locked, and what was the reason for scrubbing the entries regarding the discrepancies between European and South American qualifiers?

There isn't a thread for current transfers here. 🤷

Not within the first three pages, anyway.

Is there actually a thread dedicated to junior league soccer? I honestly feel like the intensity and the level of play in those youth academies are way more intense than what you see in the senior leagues these days.🤣

Hardly surprising—the transfer window doesn't open for another two months, so I'm mostly just afraid of a flood of unverified nonsense and baseless rumors. But sure, someone could start one.

In America? I think there used to be one somewhere, but I can't track it down. Not sure if starting one at the end of the season even makes sense—but if you're feeling it, go ahead. Just don't limit it strictly to the juniors, and definitely don't restrict it to the current season.

Yeah.

Give it a day or two—things should pretty much settle themselves out by then...

I already cleared it with the mod—I'll be dropping the Champions League final thread right before the weekend, so please—just hang tight for a few more days... 🙂

Hmm... Mourinho moving on and whoever takes over at Real Madrid are two totally different conversations 😕 Have we ever seen anything like this happen before? 🤷 Can someone start a new thread for "Mazzarri leaving and his successor"? 🤷

What's the issue here, man?

My take—this thread could easily rack up a ton of posts over time, so I pulled it out separately. We hit over 100 in a single day. I don't know why you're so obsessed with post counts on Reddit, but frankly, I couldn't care less—if I think something deserves its own space, I'm going to make it happen. It's not written in stone that every football discussion has to be squeezed into a few existing threads.

And no, that thread about Mazzarri isn't staying—it just doesn't have the legs to turn into a real discussion.

If you aren't a fan of this explanation, feel free to head over to the subreddit.

Hey, Alex Cook... looks like Marshall is heading back for another round of chemo, and honestly, it’s looking more and more likely that Barca will be hunting for a new manager too. Doesn't that deserve its own thread? 🤷

If that actually happens and the forum crowd shows any interest in discussing it, we'll pull it out of the main thread—separate it from the rest. Until then, nothing.
