I was thinking about starting a thread that serves as a sort of information hub, though really, I see it more as a comprehensive round-by-round review. The plan is to call it something like "US Soccer Review - 2012/13 Season" or something along those lines. This thread is going to blow up on Monday, honestly—it'll be like that massive weekly roundup everyone used to love, just in text form, and we aren't going to limit ourselves to just the top five leagues either, because we'll include absolutely every league that has dedicated followers and authors willing to write them up 😁 for example: we could have someone covering France, steelgardener24 handling Turkey, Robert Torres taking care of the Premier League, Ibrahim covering Serie B, graniteheron132 doing the Championship, Patrick Wright looking at Australia, coastalheron12 covering Norway, Casey White13 covering Argentina, or whatever else 😁 you can imagine, etcetera 😁 so basically, we'd have match results and goalscorers, short commentary on every single game or maybe some interesting long-form piece covering the whole round, plus updated standings, top scorer lists, upcoming fixtures, predictions for the next round, and any news or fun trivia that comes out 😬
I really think people will be interested in contributing as writers. There are plenty of people writing stuff already, it's just that right now everything is so scattered and posts get lost in a sea of things like "Team A 1:0" or random arguments. I know this forum is naturally a place for debate and exchanging opinions, but this specific thread wouldn't be for debating 😬 though it would be fine to comment on someone's write-up just to show them some appreciation 😁 sports news sites can be pretty boring to read sometimes. If this idea has already been floated and shot down before, then just ignore me 🙂

They’re backing off for now—but honestly? If that thread actually gets started, I don't mind dropping a report on the Norwegians every Monday. No biggie.

Honestly, can we just take all that childish, petty nonsense regarding the Barca-Madrid rivalry and shove it somewhere else? Seriously, they’ve completely trashed the entire thread about examples.

darkmarlin16 said:It’s honestly exhausting when some die-hard Lakers fan, who happens to have players on his roster known for being absolute thugs like Draymond or Pepe, tries to generalize how everyone plays.😂🙏
Just shut down the forum already; there's nothing left here.
.
That’s where you can find the exit.

I don't even want to picture the absolute chaos unfolding over there once you've managed to drag constructive types like darkmarlin16 over to the dark side.

Hey darkmarlin16, from Newcastle to the Big Apple, you aren't getting any permanent status here.

I don't know what to tell you—it’s just one of those things. Sometimes things click, and sometimes they don't. It's like trying to tune an old radio in a basement; you can turn the dial all you want, adjusting for every bit of static, but if the signal isn't there, you're just wasting your time. You can't force the clarity. It’s a matter of timing and, frankly, a little bit of luck. kaže:
Matri is simply in a league of his own—honestly, there’s just no one else even playing the same game. ☕
ambertinker41 said:And honestly, it’s a lot more attractive, too. ☕
Steven Wood72 said:But let’s be real—nobody else even comes close to playing like Chiellini.
Steven Wood72 said:That’s the core group right there—think along the lines of a classic roster like LeBron, AD, Anthony Davis, and the rest of that Lakers squad.
Steven Wood72 said:Honestly, I have no idea how I managed to let him slip my mind. 😢
Henry Lee84 said:The debate surrounding the Bundesliga is getting out of hand—honestly, after seeing how everything played out, I feel like I’ve finally seen the whole picture. 🙏
brightpilot6 said:Gay? Why? In my experience, whether another man is attractive or not is really only a concern for guys who aren't entirely sure about their own—well, let's call it "orientation"—to begin with. ☕
Henry Lee84 said:Give me a breakdown on ZZ. 🍿 It’s honestly exhausting to watch how people try to cheapen Freud’s legacy—it’s like watching someone take a vintage Mustang, strip the engine, and try to sell it as a budget economy car. It’s a total logical fallacy. You can't just toss out his core theories and act like you've dismantled his entire contribution to psychology when you're actually just misinterpreting the basics. It’s lazy, really.
brightpilot6 said:It’s simple, really. On a purely logical level, you guys are confusing aesthetics with sexual attraction. Just because I say a car is beautiful or a dog is handsome doesn't mean—automatically—that I want to get intimate with them.
On a purely personal level—and I say this with zero intention of being provocative, just observing how things work—some men seem to harbor this deep-seated anxiety. It’s almost like an instinctual fear that acknowledging when another man is genuinely handsome might somehow diminish their own standing. They struggle to accept the reality that a man can have striking features without it being a threat to their own ego or masculinity. estetsku It ended up resulting in this second one. Honestly, they don't even want to engage with the actual phenomenon—instead, they just target anyone brave enough to dissect it, slapping "gay" labels on them like it’s some kind of ultimate indictment. ☕
Look, you see? There’s just zero fun to be had here.
Get these idiots out of the Bundesliga—or at least move them to a league where they actually belong, like the USL.
Hey.

It wouldn't hurt if you all learned a little bit about how life actually works from us over at the University of Michigan☕

I’ve got a proposal for the next transfer window. Let's start a dedicated thread just for the Milan fans.

Anthony Jackson2 said:Honestly, you both have a point—partially. The issue lies somewhere in the middle. Like I said, trolling isn't inherently the problem, especially if it's actually clever. A little bit of trolling can spark a debate, which drives up the post count, which in turn drives more clicks. And we all know this site exists for the clicks ☕
.
That said, there has to be some level of restraint. When people show up just to drop brainless one-liners that make zero sense, it turns into a circus, obviously.
Then there’s the crowd that doesn't know how to handle a troll—they get it, but instead of responding, they just start whining, spamming emojis, and calling for the mods. Meanwhile, those same people will troll the second they get the chance. It drives me crazy, and frankly, it’s usually that exact group that ruins a thread with their stupidity. If you see someone trolling, either ignore them or shut them down with actual arguments 🙄
.
It's the same story with people who don't even follow the league, yet they jump in to troll because there's plenty of material or enough naive users to bait
.
When you put it all together, you don't end up with a debate seasoned with trolling; you just get a pile of nonsense that isn't interesting, funny, or anything positive. It sucks.
So, what's the fix? Start a live chat, I guess ☕
.
Just kidding—we'll talk it out, but things are definitely going to change
.
P.S. If anyone has feedback regarding the moderators, please move that conversation over to the Private Lounge 😉
.
Is anything actually going to happen here, or should we just wait until next season for things to change?

I might sound like a total wimp saying this, but honestly, opening a separate thread for the lower English leagues makes sense since people follow them so closely anyway... keeps the main league discussions from getting cluttered. I’m fine with it.
But then why is it such a massive issue to finally just start one dedicated, chaotic thread for the VB16/VRM13 debates where all the kids ☕ can go absolutely wild and talk trash to each other? That way, I don't have to deal with it...

Same here, what's the hold up?🤷

I already asked that exact question before and just got laughed at.
Also, nobody ever gave me a straight answer as to why that live thread for Spanish soccer was nuked.
Why do the "Italians" get to have their own space while "we" aren't allowed?🤷
#698 ·
Honestly, I think VB16/VRM13 have more right to be running the Primere thread than anyone else posting there. Personally, I wouldn't even care if Robert Torres and his crew just started their own separate thread and left ours alone.

Nah, forget that, Pušimera is my kid☕
No seriously though, what makes you think you have more "right" to that thread than I do? You haven't even been here that long. This whole idea that a thread belongs to one specific person is just stupid. Just like every other thread on this site, Pušimera belongs to everyone, and everyone should be able to post in it.
I’m generally against splitting threads up (unless we're just redirecting a specific debate elsewhere), but if there's no other way and the mods are on board, I don't mind them opening a new spot to follow the Spanish league...
