Honey, this isn't really the place for personal shout-outs, it's supposed to be for gathering signatures.
Did you forget to include it?

The whole situation with ZUD is pathetic because you don't have a single mod actually showing up to participate in those chats. Honestly, if you put in a little effort instead of making such a huge scene, they’d be back 😬

Lately, those chat rooms have just been small cliques of women hanging out. The topics have drifted away from anything related to ZUD and turned into general socializing, and frankly, having three separate chats for one sub-forum is just overkill.

How is this any different from any other forum? 🤷
It's becoming this annoying forum tradition where every year you try to migrate all the chats from a specific forum over to OFF topic. People are shocked, and honestly, they have every right to revolt 🤷
Let's be clear: on OFF topic, people are mostly starting their own threads. Nobody is being forced to be there. They end up there because they bonded on a different forum first. This whole move makes it look like OFF topic is some trash bin or a prison for "undesirables" 😁
which isn't true at all. By doing this, you're just ruining the reputation of this forum that I actually care about 😍
Sorry for the rant 😁

Jose White18 said:"...lately, these chats have been seeing much smaller groups of women hanging out, where conversations have shifted toward social topics that aren't exclusively about ZUD—and honestly, having three separate chats is just too much for one sub-forum..." Everything regarding this was already explained here. I really don't see what part of that is unclear or why more details would help. It's pretty obvious that for certain people, no explanation will ever be good enough.

...aside from the most vital and glaringly obvious point: why exactly are three chats considered "way too many" for one subforum? Is the poor subforum suffering from mental anguish? Does it have insomnia or trouble concentrating?

I would truly love to see just one logical reason behind this. As it stands, the whole thing feels like someone stomping into a sandbox to smash sandcastles simply because they have two extra layers—which, apparently, is a big no-no.

Here's an idea: just tempt one of the mods into being an adulteress, and voila! 😁

You've probably got a point there, 🙂

By acting this way, you're kind of ruining the reputation of this PDF I hold so dear. 😍
Forgive me for going on a bit of a tangent here, 😁

Thanks for the detour, 🙏
Just so we’re all on the same page and there isn't any confusion, nobody is suggesting that this beloved PDF is anything less than great, nor is anyone trying to belittle it.
It’s just that we feel our topics really belong over on ZUD, and we're simply pushing back against these arbitrary decisions that don't seem to have much of a logical basis behind them.

Michelle Wilson8, I’m glad you reminded us why this protest is happening. I’m joining you once again in calling for all the members from the three different threads to voice their opinions. Even if things turn out however they may, since everything here ultimately depends on individual whims thanks to such subjective judging.
The thread we were assigned is meant to be short-lived and has a certain impulsive charm, but these current topics are far from brief; it feels like they used a bit of extra "chatter" as an excuse to weed people out.
GIVE US BACK OUR SPACE OR WE ARE GOING BIG !!!!

The moderators still haven't provided any clarity on this:

1) What is the actual limit for chat topics? I’m curious as to what specific rules or authority dictates that having three chat topics is suddenly too many.

2) On what grounds were those three moved? Labeling them strictly as "chat" topics feels inaccurate; anyone reading them can see they center on very specific issues, like being a mistress or an adulteress.

3) Is there a cap on how many regulars can frequent a chat topic? How many new users need to join within a certain timeframe to prevent it from being flagged as a "closed group"?

4) IF we are following objective criteria for what constitutes a chat, why were all three removed at once despite their vastly different lengths, subject matters, and engagement levels?

5) Where did this sudden need for such aggressive, unreasoned intervention come from? These threads worked perfectly fine for years—they drew people in and actually helped the community.

I’m just done fighting against the wind...

I don't want to belittle this PDF; quite the opposite, I respect every single file and every member of this community...
Honestly, I don't even have the energy to write anymore...
I am one of those people who used to visit, contribute, and feel like I was part of a specific clan—everything our moderators cite as a reason for moving things around...
Every word I've typed in any of those three chats, every song I shared, every smiley face... it's all a piece of who I am...
My issue is that I take all of this far too personally. I find myself expecting others to actually empathize with someone else's sadness, happiness, opinions, or emotions...
My problem is that I can't seem to separate ZUD from Life for Two, or politics, or health, or anything else for that matter...
The truth is, I read people and individuals, not sub-forums...

Maria Brown59, why should we only bring back the betrayed?
Do you really think the pain of a betrayed partner is more appropriate for ZUD than the heartache of a mistress who didn't want that role, or an adulteress struggling with her own doubts...?
Look, we don't necessarily have to understand each other. We can just argue and blame one another for our own personal messes in life...
In the game, there are feelings—real human feelings...
No matter which PDF we end up in...

Jose White18 said:If the ZUD PDF really relies solely on just three threads like you're claiming, then honestly, the whole ZUD might as well collapse along with them. It wouldn't be worth saving. Personally, I don't think it's that dependent, and I doubt it'll actually happen like that. 🙂

No one has had a single post deleted because of this move.
Nobody.
Not one.

Dear Jose White18... are you full of it, or are you seriously still insisting that posts aren't being deleted? Should I just start a new thread over on ZUD to see if it stays up or gets wiped out like everything else?

People can think whatever they want, but those pains aren't the same.
A mistress or an adulteress makes a conscious choice about their role. They step into something knowing exactly what the consequences might be. So, I guess they have to be ready to deal with the pain they brought on themselves.

The betrayed person didn't choose their situation or their pain. It was forced on them. They’re caught off guard, and in all that chaos, I suppose it's important they find some kind of support and comfort.

My post got eaten up😠
Everything that little bear wrote is true... we need to be sent back to where we started... back to ZUD...

I honestly don't get how someone who has written countless posts can just accept being dumped into OFF topic. Are we really "off topic" just because, after 700 pages of talking, we ask each other what's for dinner? Give me a break.😲

Regarding the arguing... yeah, it happened, and it probably always will if someone sticks their nose too far into someone else's business... but for God's sake, we aren't children...

Just put us back on ZUD
and you'll solve the problem
because you certainly won't fix it the way things are now
And why isn't anyone from the mod team responding right now?

Without even attempting to weigh someone else's suffering, I just don't see any logical connection between how much someone is hurting and whether or not a topic gets revisited.

Ultimately, ZUD is absolutely packed with topics that aren't painful at all.

It seems we find ourselves at an impasse: we believe this is necessary, yet they remain convinced it isn't.
It feels like our "yes" is always their "no," and their "yes" is always ours...
They will likely respond to our arguments soon, so feel free to continue posting here just as you have been doing up until now.
They are the ones in charge... 🤷

They really need to get their act together and organize their shop...
In a way that feels somewhat stigmatizing...
If you have been cheated on, then just speak about the betrayal and leave it at that. Period.
As if it even matters how you feel three years down the line. 🤷
If you're just going to be some lowlife, then what exactly do you have to say about how things unfolded after that?
Honestly, who really cares that she has a baby now?🤷
Honestly, who even cares? Now that steeleagle25 is getting a divorce, she won't be acting like an adulteress anymore. 🤷

You're changing your status, and that means you're no longer part of this Topic. 🤷
The bar section of the ZUD...

Perhaps they should have just banned all of us who constantly drift OFF topic, cluttering the threads with trivial daily nonsense and the various emotions that come along with it...
But that would just open the floodgates for far too many personal grievances...
So, they actually deleted entire threads just because a few of us forum users decided to be a little rebellious...
If it doesn't suit someone, then they simply shouldn't write, right?

And really, who can blame us for viewing this as nothing less than a degradation?
Moving from ZUD over to off...
They were simply trying to establish some order at ZUD. 🤷

Honestly, Ryan, I didn't expect such whining and defeatism from you!

This is nothing more than unargued tyranny and thinly veiled intolerance.
ZUD doesn't belong to the moderators.
The forum exists for the users, not the mods.

And forum rules aren't the Ten Commandments; they shouldn't be set in stone.

In reality—if we are being completely honest here—the forum exists because of the money.

I agree. Those are easily the three most active and widely read threads on ZUD. I’m putting my vote in to bring them back.👍
